    1. No worse than many of the ball/strike calls in the games now. I usually quit counting at 10 in the games I watch.
At least the umps are eyeless towards both teams, so harm done right?

  1. 25% of Florida will be under water in 40 years and Americans will have to move to Canada, due to Global Warming. A clip from CBS News in March of 1982 (43 years ago) as retold by BlazeTV (Glen Beck and Stu Burguiere).

So why in 2025 are people from Florida still getting 25 year mortgages? Money doesn’t talk, it screams …

“The [Israeli] army is already exhausted. Military pressure has killed the hostages.” versus “Hamas is entirely responsible for whether the hostages live or die. You have an Islamist terrorist group … that uses its own civilians as shields to destroy Israel … that uses food against its own people”.

… One of the backers of the WHN is a Calgary-area doctor named Joe Vipond. If that name rings a bell it’s because during the pandemic, Vipond was a strong critic of the Kenney government, supported every stronger lockdowns and opposed any easing of restrictions. He was highly visible in the media without ever exposing his strong NDP ties, including nearly $20,000 in donations to the Alberta NDP.

Now, he and his official sounding group want the CSA to recommend mandatory N95 masks in all health settings and then for governments to use their legal and regulatory authority to make that a reality…

    1. You don’t need a smartphone in Mississauga!

I was waiting outside of the hospital after my test where it is mandatory to have a prearranged ride after, but my friend thought she was supposed pick me up a hour later than the time I told her.

After a while a guy stops in front of me and lowers his window telling me he was my Uber driver, but to verify who I was I, I needed to hand my phone through the window. I told him I didn’t order any Uber and without saying a word he drives on.

A little while later, a second accented fellow stops in front of me to tell me he was my Uber driver. I ask him to tell me what my name is and he shouts at me to f— off. Then, in an even louder voice all sorts of things, in what I assume was Punjabi, and speeds away.
