  5. Why and how is it that 1.4 million indigenous people can hold 38.5 million Canadians hostage economically? It is time for real leadership in this country or else nothing will ever be accomplished and Canada will fall into 4th world status.

    1. The only comfort here is that those indigenous folks will find that the federal coffers have no money, or no money with any value, in them once we descend to that point, and they will have to realize that they had their part in the destruction of the country. The simple fact is that no mining/manufacturing/oil/gas/coal/timber/fishing means no tax income for the feds and provinces, and nobody getting money from those governments will be happy about that.

      Nobody.

    2. Never mind that most of the treaties that their ancestors signed said they gave up all their rights, suddenly they have the right to stop every project.
