Give Google AI credit for what it got right: That is, in fact, a picture of me, and I did, in fact, win a Pulitzer Prize (trust me, I’m just as shocked as you are). But to the best of my knowledge, I did not pass away last November 20. That is not just my opinion. In recent months I have been examined by two different licensed physicians, and if I had been dead, I’m pretty sure at least one of them would have mentioned it.

  3. I tried Google’s AI engine Gemini about six months and was not impressed.

    Grok, on the other hand, is impressive. It can make mistakes (as an example, it didn’t know that Rick Tocchet was no longer the coach of the Vancouver Canucks), but when you point them out, it digs deeper and corrects itself, usually with satisfactory results. And it does a good job picking up on humour and sarcasm, and will even return fire.

    I asked Grok about what it indicated when people who referred to themselves in the third person, It gave a very reasonable replye. Then I asked
