    1. IMHO … Pam Bondi simply did what she was told. Perhaps she got out too far over her skis with the “files on my desk” comment. But I assure you … Bondi isn’t making the call on releasing the files.

      But something else bothers me. We have Ghislaine Maxwell serving 20 years in a Federal Pen. … for what?

      She was found guilty of child sex trafficking and other offences in connection with the deceased financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2021. In 2022 she was sentenced in federal court in New York City to twenty years’ imprisonment

      Really? On what evidence? Why aren’t all the people who are screaming for “The List” … screaming for the actual EVIDENCE used to convict Maxwell? I’ve never seen or read any of it. Wouldn’t there be lists of names used as evidence to convict her?

      Please also note the P.Diddy trial which was made a PUBLIC SPECTACLE… ended with a minor nonsensical charge of PAYING women a shitload of money to be willing participants in his Freak-off sex parties. The government made FOOLS of themselves with cases of baby oil … uh, where’s the crime in that, bitch!?

      So what … EXACTLY … are Maxwell’s crimes? Why isn’t the MAGA base screaming for THAT evidence FIRST?

      1. My understanding is that the names of the clients didn’t come up in the trial.

        The prosecution essentially based its case on the testimony of four women who related their interactions with Maxwell and Epstein. In other words it was a narrowly-focused prosecution.

        2. ^^Had the prosecution asked the women to name Epstein’s clients in open court Maxwell ‘s defence team would have been entitled to call them to testify as rebuttal witnesses.

          That would have resulted in a super long series of she said-he said back and forths.

          Considering the allegedly large number of Epstein clients the trial could have gone on for years.

          1. And … then she would have been granted her FULL constitutional Rights. Sheesh … P.Diddy got more constitutional rights than Maxwell received.

      3. The list is real. This is suprisingly sloppy of the Trump team to deny the list exists. Bongino is ballistic.

      4. I’ve yet to hear an explanation of Ghislaine Maxwell’s attendance at Chelsea Clinton’s wedding. Friend of the family, no doubt.

        1. Wikipedia describes her as a … “socialite”. The Clintons are … socialites. Right? What an odd euphemism for what she did.

          1. “Socialites” makes them sound low-calorie, doesn’t it? Perhaps they’re misspelling “-ists”.

    2. The importance of the Epstein files is greatly exaggerated IMO. The campaign trail promise to release these files was not a major factor in my decision to vote for Donald Trump and I don’t believe it was a major motivation for other Trump voters. I suspect the pot stirrers are those who reveal titallating information for profit, for the revenue stream. These same people tried hard to whip up a conspiracy frenzy after the suicide of Virginia Guiffre but that apiwars to have failed.

        And let me add that Dan Bongino is ONLY upset BECAUSE Pam Bondi ACTUALLY released the tape that Bongino declared convinced him that Epstein DID commit suicide … because Bongino declared “he saw the tape” and “nobody was observed going into or out of Epstein’s cell” …

        Then … Bondi releases THAT SAME tape … and it has missing time, and incomplete viewing angles … which makes Bongino’s declaration sound utterly STUPID.

        Bongino is butt-hurt because he (and Kash Patel) were just made to look like utter fools.

          1. Are you suggesting that Bongino saw a DIFFERENT tape? A tape that HAD INCLUDED the missing minute? A tape which actually showed Epstein’s cell? I don’t think so.

          2. I’m not suggesting anything. Nothing in my comment made reference to another tape, just the Bondi tape that was made public.

            I provided links to stories that said the Bondi tape that was released didn’t show Epstein’s cell.

            In other words, there was no tape showing the outside of Epstein’s cell, something that was reported on years ago, which raised a lot of suspicions among all the other suspicion things that occured the night Epstein presumably commited suicide.

  3. Robert … fantastic music selection. Thunderclap Newman featuring one of my favorite Brit guitarists … a 15 year old!!!! Jimmy McCulloch! I LOVE me some Jimmy … and his riff on this tune is eternally memorable.

    Believe it or not … Wings was actually one hell of a band when McCartney was smart enough to recruit Jimmy. This tune is pure Jimmy … the whole song is nothing but a series of Jimmy riffs, vamps, and fills. Sooooo pleasing to my ear. And then Jimmy grinds out a sweet solo at about 2:10 … although the entire song sounds like one continuous guitar solo.

    4. Robert and Kenji – I had never heard of this UK no 1 single before today and I instantly liked it. Who knew Pete Townsend. who confounded this band, was a talent scout. How many other songs are out there from this era that the general public is unaware of that are great songs?
      Jimmy McCulloch had a great sound. As ADD pointed out he “was a guitarist of a ‘type’ (ala Peter Green, Mick Taylor)”. I also love what Mick Taylor did for the Stones albums he played on. But Mick was smart enough to get out before he ended up like Jimmy.

    The title is speculative, but the article merely lists facts. From those facts, it’s pretty clear that what they say “may” happen has already happened. Basically, that’s the only “win” Russia can get in the Russo-Ukrainian war – a swath of devastated depopulated land in exchange for massive geopolitical (don’t forget Syria, too, and the East-Asian republics now dominated by China, just like Russia itself is) and economical losses (if anyone wants me to repost a link to the article about how Gazprom, once their biggest source of revenues, is doing, I’m happy to oblige).

    Meanwhile, kenji and the rest of the Flintstone family from 20000 BC will pretend that is was what the senile gramps in the bunker planned all along… Nevermind the deranged perverted crowd one step down on the intellectual ladder that will probably continue to predict “Russian domination of Europe and parts of Asia”.
