  1. Can I get a Big Gulp at Tim Hortons? If not, then it’s not for me. Not for my Beeg American Ass

  2. Timmy’s coffee always gives me a sinus headache. Donuts are meh. Muffins are decent.
McDonalds coffee is better, not great.
    Won’t support Starbucks.

Coffee choices on the road are pretty slim, truck stops are preferred.

  3. However….not Canadain.
“Tim Hortons is currently owned by Restaurant Brands International (RBI), a multinational fast food holding company. RBI was formed in 2014 through the merger between Burger King and Tim Hortons, with the latter being acquired by Burger King for $12.5 billion, funded by 3G Capital, which owns a significant stake in the company.
The company is now one of the world’s largest quick-service restaurant companies, operating under the RBI umbrella”

  4. Not that big a deal in and of itself, but 200 pro-Irish demonstrators stopped a traditional Muslim parade in Dublin, Ireland:
    https://www.irishtimes.com/ireland/dublin/2025/07/04/protest-against-annual-islamic-procession-disrupts-traffic-in-dublin-city-centre/

First, the pro-Irish protestors were upset because the Islamists were ending their march at the General Post Office (GPO), considered an Irish shrine from the Easter 1916 uprising. Second, to fight Islamism the anti-Islamists need numbers in the streets. Here, the Irish National Party provided the organization needed to block the Muslims.

      1. Starbucks too and the idiotic thing about that is that almost any cafe or bar or restaurant in Spain makes a far better coffee that the US chain, equivalent to Italian coffee because they use the same coffee machines and method.

And cheaper too, especially in neighborhoods away from tourist hot spots.

  5. How come Krispy Kreme can bake fresh donuts and Tim Hortons can’t…..anymore?

    1. I haven’t seen a Krispy Kreme fresh from the river of oil in 20 years. Most of them went out of business. Just three day old factory made Krispy Kreme now.

Only other option near me is Dunkin, which turned Indian and stopped baking fresh years ago.

  6. Singh Horton’s? Maybe I’ll go back when they start hiring white people again.

    1. “Tim Horton’s” doesn’t hire the local cup fillers, the locally owned franchisee, often a foreigner, is the employer.
