  1. Pssst … Social media megaphones does not MAGA make. As IF Trump had ever “lost” his MAGA base. Puffed shirts Puhleeze!

  2. I’ve had twitter for about a year. I’ve recommended it a few times here for breaking news. I was wrong.
It’s pure brain rot. Fuel for mental illness.
Everyone’s running a scam. The same garbage over and over. Celebrities, politicians, whores (like there’s a difference)

  3. It doesn’t help that many people lose their minds whenever Jews or Israel are involved in any issue.

  4. It became worse with monetization, as these accounts are engagement junkies. The clickbait “here’s a thread” stuff is especially irritating.

    1. The monetization has made a lot of the leaders of the pack piling on each other and that’s when I stop paying attention. Still, there is very good content and opinion out there. Just want to remind everyone that in both Iraq and Syria, nuclear facilities were ‘taken out’ before things got much worse. We have different players this time so we’ll see what happens.

    2. The feeling of being played by unscrupulous idiots is strong with Twittler. That’s why I refuse to have an account.

I’m coining a new term for it: opinion thrash. Where the clickbaiters flip uncontrollably from one view to another just to generate more clicks.

Propaganda for the new brainrot generation. On the bright side, it’s nice that it is so easy to spot and call out.

  5. “shut up and watch for a while”

They refuse to, as they also refuse to learn anything, it many times will prove their point of view wrong.

  6. It’s the “first to press” of the social media era: gotta get those engagement clicks before someone else does.
