Thank You For Your Attention To This Matter

Clip of the operational details here.

Iran Parliament has voted to close the Straits of Hormuz: We’re about to get some good footage of Iranian ships being sunk.

Can Iran close the Straits? “Probably not.”

Axios: At the request of the Trump administration, the Israeli Air Force took out multiple Iranian air defense systems in the 48 hours leading up to the U.S. strike on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility, three U.S. and Israeli officials told Axios.

Evening update from Joe in the comments: Commander of IRGC Ashura garrison was shot in his car. He survived, but died when his ambulance was hit by a drone.

          1. Did you or your friend hear what Hesgeth said?
If you both think that’s normal then maybe I should revisit his part.
            I found it bizarre.
Apparently I’m not allowed to disagree with the obsequious narrative.

  1. Blocking the straits will be an attack, not only on the world, but the Saudis.

  2. The straits may look like their backyard but it’s international waters. The mullahs can’t be that stupid.
I hope Putin and Xi will not use Iran as proxy to fight US.

      1. “The mullahs in fact can be that stupid.”

Apparently so, but they aren’t the only Iranians who will be impacted by this foolishness…and with their refineries still largely intact and incredibly vulnerable it is an even more idiotic response to adopt.

I’m thinking military coup. Rumor has it that some high-ranking generals had already reached out to the exiled prince. Iran WILL lose this conflict, no matter what…it’s just a matter of how many deaths will be required to end it.

      2. The mullahs in fact can be that stupid.

Yep. And given Iran’s 200-600,000 dead in the Iran-Iraq war of the 80s, they are much more willing to sacrifice soldiers than other countries.

    1. As it turns out the BRIC’s are a BRICK.

Not a single jet scrambled, or shot fired at US warplanes or ordinance. However, I must give a giant thumbs up to our Israeli allies.

    1. Carney will be dropping free hockey pucks in Iran as an example of solidarity with something or other.

      1. Will he be taking a “transgender” hockey player with him? The NHL would approve …

  3. Given the Ukrainian and Israeli success with drone attacks, look for Iran to launch a similar style attack on the US.

    1. “Given the Ukrainian and Israeli success with drone attacks, look for Iran to launch a similar style attack on the US.”

I’m thinking it will be another ‘symbolic’ attack, like the last one they launched against the Americans…warn them beforehand (so they can evacuate), then lob a few missiles at a handful of empty US bases.

  4. Iran thought they had two weeks to use Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar to put pressure on the US to influence Israel into a ceasefire. At the same time Pakistan (a staunch ally of Iran regardless of what the media says) thought they would push things in that direction by trying to appeal to Trump’s personal ego, and nominated him for the Nobel Peace prize. The goal was a ceasefire so they could concentrate on shoring up the domestic front (which is about to be a real problem). Iran said they would “show more flexibility with their nuclear program” if SA, Oman, and Qatar assisted them in pressuring the US

Obliterating their nuclear program has forced them to go to Plan B (which is a hail Mary). Trump’s advisors read the middle school type strategy and decided to remove their bargaining chip with SA, Oman, and Qatar. Now, Iran is in a position where they half-ass lied about having moved the nuclear research elsewhere (they didn’t). And, Russia is stepping in to try and salvage the situation by stating they have been giving Iran nuclear warheads (they haven’t). At the same time, Iran switched to their hail Mary (Straits of Hormuz)…which they haven’t a prayer of blockading. Not a single prayer.

The days of the current theocracy’s control of Iran are very numbered.

    1. You say that like it’s a good thing? And it is. Sorry lefties, the world just got MORE Peaceful … not less. And all those war experts like Tucker Carlson who have predicted WWIII? Well then, it’s a good thing you’ve moved your family into the deep, remote, woods of Maine. And pssst … back off those nicotine patches … mouth cancer is an ugly thing.

    2. “The days of the current theocracy’s control of Iran are very numbered.”

Absolutely. They may try to fire a few missiles at US targets as cover while they flee the country, but it won’t work…Israel will target and eliminate them anyway.

    1. An Israeli analyst – what Israel’s current assessment is.

“First off all Natanz was completely wiped out. For Fordo and Isfahan, we’re waiting on more confirmations. Not because we think something didn’t work, but because it naturally takes longer for those deep underground sites. The big question now is whether Iran’s nuke program just went back a few years, or if it’s been totally erased.

This relates to where the enriched uranium is. That uranium, enriched to 60%, is now incredibly hard for Iran to boost to the 90% needed for a bomb. Israel thinks most, if not all, of the enriched uranium was at Natanz or Isfahan. It wasn’t moved, so it was there during the attack.

We’re now waiting For The BDA Of the Enriched uranium just like we were waiting on Muhammad Sinwar. I know he’s under a tunnel and unreachable, but we’ll likely know soon if he was also destroyed. This is huge news that could mean the official end of Iran’s nuclear program.”

  5. While Canada’s King was having obsequious slaves wipe his ass and iron his shoelaces, my President was kicking the living shit out of Muslim retards and saving the world.

  6. If Iran tries to close the Strait of Hormuz, they will be cutting off their own oil going to China.

  7. Seems like this is probably a good time to own oil tanker stocks, as the the length of the average journey will rise with this new tension.

  8. In regards to Canada, the way I see the dominos falling is this:

o The price of oil will spike.
o Causing the price of gasoline to spike just in time for vacation season.
o Causing Americans to ask why there should be tariffs on a cheap and secure source of oil like Canada.
o Causing Trump to lift tariffs on Canadian oil.

    1. OK; I get the tariff removal part as being a no-brainer, but the cost of the basic petroleum (per bbl.) is still going up, contracts being sold on the open market(?).

  9. Lots of comments here, both good and bad regarding Trump’s decision, I’ll refrain from commenting either way but offer these two thoughts. If Hitler had been treated like this we might have been spared WWII. Too many diplomats, politicians, bureaucrats and the like were so eager to engage in appeasement with Hitler that we ended up in a global conflict. Today there were too many ‘peace-niks’ advocating for a negotiated solution, perhaps Trump’s actions, negotiating from a position of strength may have, as many hope, prevented a global war. The other side of the coin is that the Obama/Biden administrations have enabled thousands of infiltrations by the followers of a certain religion, that has been trying to conquer the West for the last fourteen hundred years, are now housed and cared for by the very culture they have sworn to destroy. Should any terrorist attacks take place in the West, I shudder to think of the possible outcome that will be sought by the populace, both on the infiltrators and those that assisted them to gain entrance here.
