  1. Hahaha Robert … yeah … it’s the first summer of a Trump Admin. aka Riot Season.

The police? Who you used to think were trustworthy and honest? Nahhhh … they’re political pawns who care only about their spiked salaries and pensions. Hence … there is NO connection between looting, vandalism, car fires and the Anti-ICE protests …. Noooooo … no connection. Did I say “protest”? That sounds too … too … aggressive … so it’s been renamed … “vigil”

Yeah, I’m definitely in the 1st category … as a 4th generation Californian, whose Great grandparents drove across the USA in 1919 to settle in San Diego, then to the Oakland Hills … I have seen the rapid deterioration of this State in my nearly 70 years. This ain’t the place it used to be. And it used to be beautiful. Now it’s too crowded … too nutty leftist … and too … Rioty.

  2. Things you will see on CBC. There is outrage because Donald Trump is a dictator comparable Kim Jong Un for deploying The National Guard and Marines to the mostly peaceful demonstrations in LA. Not only that, but there has not been adequate respect shown to Governor Newsome and the Mayor , as they are dully elected officials. (Can you think of anyone they disrespect?)After all , everyone should be able to have a little campfire , do a little dancing in the streets ,throw some stones and borrow a few items from the local stores. I am sure anything borrowed was less than 900 dollars. To interfere would be against the first amendment rights and the constitution. Apparently, this is how dictatorships start. You know ,it isn’t like they had bouncy castles ,or hot tubs or honking horns or were feeding people protesting there right to refuse an experimental treatment . Then they would be deplorables and it would require the war measures act . Followed of course by beatings , confiscation of bank accounts and property and stomping by horses. With the full support of the CBC ,of course. So, just where were all these outraged reporters and pundits when this was happening in Canada? While the persecution of the heroes who stood up continues?

  3. I’m from California but actually expatriated and live in Taiwan. It’s nice! Come and experience Chinese culture that isn’t CCP! While it lasts! It’s nice to be the immigrant instead of hosting the immigrants, but they do have a lot of paperwork here. Still a lot of local people are very nice and friendly, or at least to my face they are. Houses in Taipei are very expensive but most goods and services are less expensive. Public transportation is usable and well-maintained, medicine is nationalized in a way that’s sensible and effective, and the children complain a lot about school, so you know they churn out modern-style unhappy, quasi-lobotomized wage-slaves. It might be a bit socialist-leaning but it isn’t communist even though the CCP spares no effort in influencing the local politics. Amazing in more than a few ways I think.

It’s kind of a shame. Some of the Taiwanese would like to be one of the US states, even. That would have too many political ramifications though, like everyone complaining about US imperialism complaining a bit louder and an extremely large communist missile platform appearing just outside the newly-acquired US soil.

    1. Fantastic article, Reader!

Camus had made clear that the “great replacement” of the natives has occurred because the elites of these nations have long engaged in what he calls the “great deculturation”—that is, the systematic devaluing of what is our own. If the peoples of the West knew what they had, and loved it, they would have defended it. But most of them do not.

“The great deculturalatuon” … exactly. Perhaps that is why I notice my most strident posts are in response to Kate’s and others posts about our cultural ROT. Yeah, political ROT is downstream from cultural ROT.

  4. Chief Justice Richard Wagner calls the United States “a dictatorship”.

This, from an unaccountable SCOC which has played a key role in raising our violent crime rate since 2024. E.g., the irresponsible court abolished consecutive sentences for multiple murderers, saying such sentencing results in “cruel and unusual punishment” for the multiple murderers.

Democratic governors seek to roll back state-funded health care for undocumented immigrants
A trio of states with Democratic governors viewed as potential 2028 presidential candidates have taken steps in recent weeks to freeze or cut government-funded health care coverage for undocumented immigrants.
Democratic Govs. Gavin Newsom of California, JB Pritzker of Illinois and Tim Walz of Minnesota have largely attributed the proposals to budget shortfalls stemming from original plans to expand health care to immigrants without legal status.
But the moves also occur against the backdrop of broader debate within the Democratic Party over how to handle immigration, an issue that dragged it down in the last election and that President Donald Trump and the GOP have continued to try to capitalize on…
The latest development came in Minnesota on Tuesday, after both chambers of the Legislature passed a bill to end state-funded health care for undocumented adults…
Newsom’s plan in his 2025-26 budget has called for freezing enrollment for undocumented adults to receive the full scope of the state’s Medicaid program, known as Medi-Cal…
Meanwhile, Illinois remains on track by the end of the month to end a program — called Health Benefits for Immigrant Adults — that provides state-funded health care coverage for more than 30,000 low-income adults who are living in the state without documentation.
It is extremely important to remember that this is what Democrats want to do to the whole country. They want ‘free’ (taxpayer funded) healthcare for everyone. Now that they have tried it in various states and it has failed, that should serve as warning to every single American.
