7. I wish I knew what specific question she was trying to answer. I suspect she is repeating a canned, hypothetical answer she was given for the question “What will happen to Canada’s investment in EV battery plants now that EV sales look dismal?” However, I’m sure that repurposing Canadian EV battery plants for large scale energy storage or electric industrial lift trucks won’t be found anywhere in the documents signed by our politicians.

   1. She is being questioned about the 46 billion that has been invested in various battery production schemes. Only one is continuing to proceed .The bulk of the projects have blown through the money and failed. But don’t worry , Mark is going to “catalyze” the investments. After all, it’s one of his favorite words! We are in the best of hands – even if they are in your pockets!

8. It makes as much sense as declaring that the Federal government will be making investments in Banana-growing green houses in Ontario because they are important and are a source of food. Is there anyone more intellectually paralyzed than a Liberal voter or do they just consciously vote for economic and cultural suicide?

13. So I wonder if a partial solution might be to remove the gasoline engine and drive train from a clapped out Toyota Corolla, and weld on an electric fork lift truck. Wouldn’t be much for speed, but it might get me to town once a week or so. If going to town is safe. A Carni-cart, I guess you could call it.
