  1. “Eby”, isn’t that an alternative term for a word that starts with C and rhymes with hunt?

  2. “British Columbia Premier David Eby says it’s not him standing in the way”

No, he’s merely a passive beneficiary of a system of laws that is designed to insure that no pipelines can be built in a reasonable time frame, under a system of arbitrary and capricious process where you have no recourse to recover any money spent on navigating the process, especially if it gets cancelled.

  3. “Wind West” = “Subsidy East” The only thing more useless than politicians are bureaucrats.

  4. “Floor Price”?

The floor price had been in place since the 1990s to protect small service stations from being undercut by larger players.

WHAT!? Here in the USA the only stations UNDERCUTTING the competition ARE the SMALL OPERATORS (those that are left). The BIG corporate stations are the ones who are price-fixing HIGH gasoline prices. Yeah, I’ll call it collusion. My evidence? Their UNIFORM high prices, while small independents can sell at lower prices.

And there are virtually NO MORE independents … because environmental laws have made them all dig up their underground tanks and build new, unaffordable ones. BIG OIL corporations have bought out all the independents and have jacked up the prices. CA is the WORST.

  5. Re: New Scotland’s Wind West project approval.

I’m sorry, but when was the nationwide referendum held for that? If Alberta’s energy projects require country wide approval, shouldn’t all of them?
