Armstrong Economics- MAID for Children and Teens – Canada Expands Eugenics Program
The Canadian government has already created a coloring book for children entitled “Me and My Illness.” First, they created a coloring book for children to process the potential death of their loved ones through medically assisted suicide, and then they created a suicide coloring book for CHILDREN. The book encourages children to focus on their pain, highlighting how their illness isolates them from society and makes them different. Later in the book, children are provided a “decision-making toolkit” explaining “small” and “big” medical decisions.
Words defy me, I’d say I’m horrified but that is an understatement. I guess they have to grow their industry, like all liberal industries, anyway they can?
I’ve used this line before, but to paraphrase what comedian Jay Leno once said about Hollywood Boulevard, if God doesn’t destroy Canada, he owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology
Lost on your government officials who produce this Terrorist propaganda … is that Jesus Christ specifically … specifically … promised eternal misery for those who harm our children. And no … MAID is NOT protecting the children.
The program is limited to “Heritage Canadian” children only.

Anyone recall Roberta Latimer, that they sent to prison for euthanasia of his own daughter and now when Canada does it, its the right thing to do.
I recall. That poor kid was suffering immensely, seizures and all. I really don’t know what I would have done in his place.
This Christian certainly understands that there IS a place for compassionate MAID. However … The State has no business whatsoever getting involved in this. I happen to know that MAID is a very common practice within the medical community … with full consent of all Parties involved … without need for a government sanctioned program
The Latimer case was the gold standard for euthanasia.
The standards will be lower and will decay, just like everything else in Canada is decaying.

When a government does things like this that are clearly unethical and immoral then there has to be a monetary incentive. You don’t start offering euthanasia to kids, teens or adults who do not have incurable, fatal illnesses for no reason. Cheaper medical costs? Reduced pension costs? Whatever the reasons, the slippery slope that started as death with dignity for those with terminal illnesses to eugenics for troubled teens is horrific.
That is the problem with government-run monopolies on anything. No choices, no competition, no accountability and the only incentive is to cut costs by any way. That’s how the managers get ahead. The Canadian health care system is failing.
Who applies to work for this Org.? An office full of serial killers.
Yes you do. You offer it to the mentally handicapped. That way the state doesn’t have to provide them with specialized education or any other form of social program.

The Liberal appointed Senate won’t stop them, nor will the Liberal appointed Supreme Court; who does not believe in the concept of Natural Rights. The concept enshrined in the preamble of the Charter, “ whereas Canada is founded upon the principles, that recognize the Supremacy of God and the Rule of Law.”
Without that, the Charter is turned into a Charter of privileges. Which is what we saw, big time during Covid. When the Oakes Test (1986) was rejected or ignored or over ridden. Not the first time, but that’s a longer story.

I don’t have kids and so I can’t comment on even thinking how awful it must be for a parent to have a child dying and in pain or agony, wasting away.

Accountants have run the numbers for your ghoulish, leftist, government. THEY need to tell you when your quality of life isn’t worth preserving. Got an arthritic hip? Kill HIM! I cannot describe the contempt I have for this so called country after a family member chose to let the government take her life . The details are not important but the professionals she dealt with were more than willing to accede to her wishes . We were unaware that MAID could be used to end the life of a sad person .

Clinical psychologists encourage patients to speak freely, in order to sort and arrange their
thoughts. Writing does the same, even more effectively. It’s often curative in itself or the pathway to that end. Hence, why both, speaking and now writing freely, has been suppressed by cancel culture, which Liberal gov’t’s have elevated beyond the social to the legal suppression.
The Western provinces are rejecting the life of a politically battered spouse. Other parts of
Canada seem to be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome of having their minds held hostage.
I predict a free and open discussion of the independence option and the reasons therefor,
will be curative for both a sad State and our sad state of affairs.

Catching Wild Pigs Karl Marx once said, “Remove one freedom per
generation, and soon you will have no freedoms and no one will have
noticed.” There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had
some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the
lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept
rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor
asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a
bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in
his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government
and install a new communist regime.
Then, the student looked at the professor and asked a strange question,
“Do you know how to catch wild pigs?”
The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch
line. The young man said that it was no joke. “You catch wild pigs by
finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The
pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free food. When they
are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place
where they are used to coming. At first they are scared, but when they get
used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another
side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again.
You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the
last side. The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom.
They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught.
Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that
they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they
accept their captivity.” The young man then told the professor that is
exactly what he sees happening in America & Canada. The government keeps
pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn
out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for
unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies,
payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare entitlements, medicine, drugs,
etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a
time. One should always remember two truths: 1 There is no such thing as
a free lunch, and 2 You can never hire someone to provide a service for
you cheaper than you can do it yourself. If you see that all of this
wonderful government “help” is a problem confronting the future of
democracy in America & Canada, you might want to share this with your
friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life,
then you will probably not share this. BUT, God help us all when the gate
slams shut. Think about this:
“Most of the problems we face as a country today are there because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those who vote for a living.”
