1. Clarkson is a great character. So was Don Cherry. So was Gregg Zaun. And that is why I despise everything in the media today.

2. Once a year I sign up for a free month of prime just to catch up on Clarkson’s farm and anything else I might have missed. Just remember to cancel before it renews.

3. Normality is captivating; and so rare.

4. A dozen or so years ago I purchased a book by Clarkson containing about 10 years of his automotive columns published in one of the British newspapers (Sunday Times maybe?). Can that man ever write an entertaining article – the best automotive journalist by far.

5. Hell, England has fallen off Cliff Richard.
