  9. I live in a jurisdiction that allows guns. We have specific laws governing when we can use those guns for self-defense. Essentially, if I hold a reasonable fear that someone is about to seriously hurt me or someone else, I can shoot them to stop them.

    The strategic situation is such that Gazans in Gaza have no effective response to the destruction.
    Elsewhere there are Palestinians, most of whom have dead relatives to mourn, who
    make the same mistake Israelis make of conflating Israelis with Jews.
    And two presumably innocent [the woman was apparently involved in supporting Palestinians]
    people get killed. It’s worth mourning.
    But how many Gazans were killed on the same day?

    1. Hamas can end the war anytime it likes, by
      1. Surrendering unconditionally, and
      2. Releasing all the hostages, both living and dead.
      That Hamas chooses not to do this means that Hamas is fine with the fighting continuing.
      Much like the German civilian population supported the war effort in WW2, the Gazan population is supporting the war effort in Gaza, otherwise they would have rounded up the Hamassholes and the hostages and handed them over.
      This means the fighting and bombing will continue until:
      1. Hamas meets the 2 conditions I mentioned above, or
      2. Hamas’ ability to fight is totally neutralized.

      All of your appeal to emotion arguments are just so much tripe, designed to sway the feeble-minded like yourself.
      You and your ilk are like a bully in a bar, begging others to stop a fight you started when you start losing, and its utterly pathetic.

        1. “Genocide” implies all of a genome is wiped out. If Israel loses once the majority of their genome will be destroyed. That would be a genocide. If Israel does turn into the ravening beast they are portrayed to be then they would need to depopulate Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt and probably several other nations to actually achieve destruction of the majority of a genome.

    2. Muslims are always proclaiming that they love death more than Jews (and everybody else) love their children.

        There are descendants of 12 tribes of people – one of which was Judah. People have been asked to believe that “Jew” is somehow related to 1, or perhaps even 12 of those tribes. Throughout provable history, the “Jews” have lived throughout Europe, with most living in the major cities in the West. And it was the latter who were coerced into moving to “Israel”, the country whose location had only recently been determined. Other considerations included Madagascar, for example.

        The various “proofs” of Jew=Judah descendant are shockingly weak, though repeated ad nauseum. They were also only provably recently discovered, such as Josephus. I’m sorry to say this, but the same holds true for much of the supposedly ancient “New Testament” documents. And it gets technical, but the various texts appear to have been contrived by the same people living in the same generation, but written in different languages and planted in “ancient” lands.

I didn’t used to, but have found so many problems with no shortage of it where the problems multiply upon close examination. I now believe that the handful of societies who “discover” and interpret pottery, inscriptions, papyrus, etc. are related to each other and work towards a common goal. Much like the beyond ridiculous story of the Dead Sea Scrolls that prop up some of what “Josephus” describes. And Josephus himself was “discovered”, written in French within the last couple of centuries.

            So no, not only do I reject the stories we’re told of Judea and Samaria, but also the Greek and Roman empires which I now believe to be entirely fictional. Even the name “Samaria” is fictional, and was very badly translated from the Paleo-Hebrew. Greece was also never mentioned in what we’re encouraged to call the “Old Testament”, and neither was Rome.

            Unfortunately the more you dig into what we’re taught, the more you’ll discover is lies. It’s depressing, but sadly true.
