  10. Pretty much the first thing that Canadians did when they established legislatures and courts was to abolish slavery. I suspect that after 200 to 250 years current descendants of people who were slaves in Canada have considerably more white ancestry than black ancestry. They can apologize to themselves. A wild guess but 99% plus of black people in Canada likely never had an ancestor who was a slave in Canada.

  11. In all fairness, Canada’s only noteworthy national accomplishment, the transcontinental railroad, was built on the backs of Chinese slave labor at the end of the British engineer’s whip.

    1. Canada has one other noteworthy achievement, the widespread acceptance of M.A.I.D as a good and compassionate thing. Of course, less noteworthy when it is a population of coward sheep, there is precious little they won’t accept, and feel gratitude toward their abusers because it could have been worse.
