    1. Ho Lee F!
You haven’t been around for long, have you?

Love the guy, but TBH, he did well lasting this long considering his weight. I hope he enjoyed his life even half as much as I enjoyed watching him on Cheers.

NORM!!! We’ll miss you, big guy!

      1. This is why some people deride Boomers. Getting all maudlin over an over rated TV show,
We laud some fat sit-com guy ,yet don’t even know C s Lewis, by contrast.
Oh, and I am a boomer, but I killed my TV 30 years ago. Read books.
        Cheers, ya’ll.

          1. Yep. Another asshole who thinks you can’t like inane TV shows and appreciate good literature.

        1. One can enjoy reading CS Lewis, and also enjoy watching Cliff and Norm sitting on their famous perches in a bar where everybody knows your name. The two are not mutually exclusive.

So please ix-nay the ermon-say. George Wendt was one of the good ones and deserves our admiration and applause for a life well lived.

    1. You have to wonder just how much the you-know-what had something to do with it.
Scott… My prayers are with you, and yes, with Joe Biden. It must be awful coming to grips with your own mortality. I dread the day when my time comes, but that’s the reality of life, which we all have to face.

  1. Great character in CHEERS. People in my age bracket are dropping like flies. UnMe and James couldn’t be happier.

The Baby Boom becomes The Surge of death

  2. Great compilation. Tons of meme material to trigger the wokees, and libtardians. Thanks and Cheers, Norm!

  3. most memorable episode Norm get a job painting and figures spray paint is the way to go.

  4. Cheers was, and is, one of the only sitcoms I watch and laugh out loud. The whole cast was outstanding and played their roles perfectly. It is hard to pick a best character.

  5. On Thursdays after work, I used to walk a long mile, buy a “twelve” or a “two four” – of Ex – and then walk a heavier long mile home then watch Cheers then Hill Street Blues.
( I was moving furniture at the time and got kinda thirsty every night.)
    Cheers!

  6. Play oldtimers hockey with a guy named Norm and I always greet him like this when he enters the locker room.
