    1. “AI goes horribly wrong, again:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpqaBT9BEDI

That video was ridiculous and annoying. Every single ‘racist’ thing supposedly said was either bleeped out or blurred out. So I’m supposed to take something seriously on a platform that also forces one to use the word ‘k*ll’? Please.

Total clickbait, to me. I learned absolutely nothing from that.

(not a dig at you, YW, for posting it…just saying that the censorship is getting out of control even more than the AI is…)

  1. Not really a “news tip” as it’s been out there for a few days, but I think the #Libranos canceling tariffs on US goods imported to Canada and continuing to campaign against it rivals the Trudeau Sr. campaign against Robert Stanfield’s Progressive Conservatives and price controls in the 1974 election, Trudeau spent the campaign saying “zap you’re frozen” and won the election with that, and then brought in wage and price controls in 1975.

“Mark Carney released his costed Liberal platform which included billions in revenue from “retaliatory tariffs” against the States on April 19 – three days after he had quietly dropped them to “near zero.”
    and..
“Hey wait.. @MarkJCarney, you were counting $20b in tariff revenue in your platform for 2025-2026. Is that gone? Is that why there’s no budget?”

      1. I don’t know if the election board/committee/whatever is a provincial thing or if it operates at arm’s length from the gov’t.

I attended around a dozen TBA meetings all across southern Alberta & never once did David endorse a candidate by name or inference. All he ever said was to vote for the one that comes closest to your own values. These charges are nothing more than trumped up BS to scare away grass roots organizations.

If this is DS’s handiwork, it makes no sense because she would have benefited from his philosophy.

All that said, no, DS is not to be trusted & her feet need to be held to the fire. Never forget.

  2. See tomorrow’s report from Sam Cooper on fentanyl, Kash Patel was making waves today on this, now that the importation from other countries has been dealt with, it leaves Canada as the leading importer of fentanyl.

As Cooper says, this wasn’t an election issue. It’s going to be an issue now.
The President has returned from his mid-east tour and it’ll be back to domestic business for him this week, with a couple of $ trillion in new investment on the way, I’m not sure he needs Canada as much as the easterners seem to think.

Elbows up Marx Carnage… The President knows you lied about Canadian tariffs on American goods, everyone in Canada knows too. Your PhD with sections copied from others without attribution.
The lies are starting to pile up.

    1. So what? Trudeau regularly lied to Canadians and still easterners kept voting for him. With Carney, it’s just a different pile.
Canada’s Constitutional political didtribution (MP’s, Senate, Judiciaryl) will be this County’s undoing.

      1. bingo in writeoffland aka once formerly the nation of Canaduh, the occupants blindly following the propaganda.
is there something in the water? you got more of it than any other present nation.
why do we have a minister of cdn unity when we are nothing and you cant unify dust particles.

    2. Me thinks Trump is going to make it the major bone of contention at the G6+Canada next month.
The potential that he is going to publicly call out specific countries and those in the G7 that aid and abet fentanyl is pretty good odds.
As far as the meeting as a whole, my expectation is that Carney will be sidelined and excluded just as his predecessor was.

    3. Marc, I agree with your sympathies, but doubt whether the Sam Cooper revelations will move the needle any meaningful anti-drug enforcement. I subscribevto Mr. Cooper’s Substack blog (he works hard at his research). But he is a voice in the wilderness, the media-wilderness dominated by our government-subsidized corporate media. Right now there is little media interest in exploring how and why our corrupt justice system supports drug traffickers.

    1. I learned in my 20’s, that there are only “makers and takers”. For the sake of some friendships, I have gone along with the takers, they always have an excuse as to why they cannot work and make a decent living. I would limit my experiences with these people, but after 10 years, I realized that they would always be grifting until the end of their days., and reduced my interactions with them (sometimes by moving away). It is interesting but most of them voted NDP, and the rest voted Liberal.

  3. Eva is a beast. She does all kinds of travel all over, and seemingly, alone. The other woman that does that kind of world travel is Itchy Boots, although she does it on a motorcycle.

  4. I may have seen it on this site, but it bears repeating.
Instead of asking, “Would you vote to leave Canada?” maybe we should be asking, “If we were a free and independent entity already, would you vote to join Canada?”

  5. Covid surges in Asia. Drug makers, like Moderna, advance on stock market.
