Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Where to begin?
Raise the GST, coz no tariff revenue?
Get your Christmas shopping done early this year. You don’t want to doing that shopping with a 40 cent dollar.
Optimist!
Carnage is going to vastly exceed Trudeau’s deficits.
Liberals back in power may be glass half full as the sooner we rip the band aid off , the sooner the country will heal itself. Or the sooner the west leaves
No budget … and hence a HIDING of Canada’s fragile economic state of affairs … will help Carney and *gawwwwwd* … Chrystia Freeland in their tariff negotiations with the bad Orangeman. Trump won’t be able to see just how bad Canada’s economic affairs truly are … and will lose some leverage.
So … refusing to release a budget is “elbows up” against that mean old HATER OrangBADman. Right?
Go f yourself Twit
Liberals, NDP, Bloc and many of the conservatives politicians are grifters.
They would “unplug your life support to charge up their phones!”
Just in case people haven’t figured it out yet…Canada is going to be run like a private equity firm. Including asset stripping, creative accounting and taxpayer money disappearing into offshore tax havens. If we’re lucky, Carney- formerly of Brookfield, the CEO of the new private equity aquisition called Canada might let us know where some of the money went when they feel like it. The bulk of the non-mandatory spending will be hidden by cabinet confidentiality, shady slush funds, secretive 3rd party contractors, national security, NDAs and trade secrets. A lot of NGOs, 3rd world dictators, corporations and international agencies will be getting billions from the Canadian taxpayers in the form of federal government “investments”.
Hubba hubba.
Your new PM is nothing more than a Hurdy Gurdy Man. He cranked out a tune to which all Canadians could sing and dance. Elbows up and out. But it’s a droning tune. Repetitive and meaningless. Your Hurdy Gurdy Man was singing songs of HATE.
Unlike the genius psychedelic tune the brilliant and highly influential Scot. Donovan penned. While there’s some debate whether Jimmy Page provided the sumptuous distorted psychedelic guitar … it matters not, because the sound is spectacular. An epic poem from the era of Peace and Love. Donovan singing songs of LOVE.

Donovan wrote “Hurdy Gurdy Man” while in Rishikesh in India, where he was studying Transcendental Meditation with the Beatles. The recording features a harder rock sound than Donovan’s usual material, supplying a range of distorted guitars and aggressive drums. It also features an Indian influence with the use of a tambura, a gift to Donovan from George Harrison, who also helped write the lyrics. The song may have been influenced by “Green Circles”, a psychedelic 1967 song by Small Faces. The similarity is in the melody of the descending verse, the strange vocal delivery, and the topic of being visited by an enlightened stranger. In 2012, Donovan revealed that he had become friends with Small Faces in 1965.
Jimmy Page did play on it. Oh, and Donovan wanted Hendrix to record it.
Donovan Leitch played the Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary shortly after it opened. He came on 45 minutes late and then proceeded to complain about the quality of the acoustics.
A week later world renowned jazz pianist Oscar Peterson played the same room and gushed effusively about the excellent sound quality.
The Smothers Brothers somehow managed to provide an adequate microphone arrangement and acoustics. You know … picking up the subtle melodies of a softly fingerpicked guitar and almost whispering vocals isn’t quite the same as Oscar Peterson banging on a grand piano.

What a time to be alive … and impossibly young
Have you ever heard Oscar Petersen play a ballad? Where a single note struck so delicate can say more than a 12 bar phrase. I have never heard anyone describe OP’s playing as banging on a piano.
I always thought it was Jeff Beck played electric guitar on the Donovan hits? He and Donovan had the same manager ands often worked together.
And doesn’t that sound a lot like Beck’s drummer, Micky Waller, on that track? Known for his later work with Rod Stewart.
Now we get to see just how much of an environmental zealot Carney (and his wife) happens to be. I have a theory that he’s going to run the country based on subsidies to an extent no one has ever seen before. The goal of Net Zero has always been a passion for Carney (and his wife). I have a hard time believing he’d abandon it in the name of pragmatism, especially when he is in the ultimate position to set policy. In his mind, this is an opportunity to school the rubes. And, he is arrogant enough to do just that. He knows better than you, and he’s going to prove it.
I suspect he’s not all that concerned about a failing economy because it enables him to push public funds towards those projects and environmental fantasies that he considers important. He’s hoping as he does so that the population of Canada is so desperate that they will fall in line to continue to provide for their families and participate in these boondoggles.
I said first when Carney popped up on the scene that I thought he’d end up being 10 times worse that Trudeau. I’d like to move that up to about 100 times worse than Trudeau. Trudeau was arrogant but listless. This guy is the real deal. He’s a narcissist with a plan.

If kanada fails, 51st state on the menu!
No, it really isn’t. The “Clarity Law” which dictates a secession is purposefully and ironically written to be vague and allow the moving of goal posts to assure that any province willing to make that move will be doing so from an adversarial position. The House of Commons used this language: “A clear majority and reflecting a clear will of the people.”
Ask any 10 people on the street what that means, and you will get 10 different answers (which was the purpose of throwing in that “clear will of the people” obligation). It serves no purpose other than allow for obfuscation and wiggle room.
In Albertan terms, that would mean anything over 50%. BUT, your federal government will set an arbitrary percentage unachievable by the constituents of Alberta. This will force an impasse, and involve the Courts. Ottawa will, of course, win that argument. They own the courts. And, should Alberta secede anyway, the first thing Ottawa will do is require any trading partner with Canada to refuse trade with Alberta (EU will be contacted first in that regard).
Sure, Alberta trades solidly with the US ($161 Billion), and the current administration would likely assist Alberta in establishing their sovereignty and improving the trade relationship. But, eventually the democrats will get back into power and support Ottawa’s wishes. That would be inclusive of blocking port access. That doesn’t help consumer confidence.
All Alberta needs to do is take control of their CPP, like Quebec has done for years. That is the only asset Ottawa has that matters, get that ASAP, and then pass a referendum, and “see ya”. No fight if only one adversary. What is Ottawa going to do? Send the military? Please.
Be careful what you wish for… this CCP gangster is the “new” finance Minister…. what could go wrong.
The man with the most irritating voice in the history of voices.
Fart Carneys Turdhole Government… same shit same pile.

As a matter of comparison if a publicly traded company does not submit an annual report it usually results in a least one perp walk and a forensic audit by the government agency.
In this case, as with all the malfeasance committed by liberals, it’s ok when they do it.
I highly recommend everyone go read the American Declaration of Independence specifically the list of abuses that they used as justification for rebellion against the state.
So how does any new spending happen without an appropriation bill being presented to parliament? Not saying it won’t happen, just wondering how it will happen. Also, what is the penalty if the government spends money without approval?
There is no budget because Carney lied about the Tariffs. They were canceled on April 16 while he campaigned on putting them on. 20 billion missing from that line item.
