    1. So sad. Neil was one of my absolute favorites in high school, during the early 1970s. What a trite fool he has become, along with Joni and so many others of that era.

    3. I grew up on Neil, and still love his music. I consider myself an aging hippie as well … but my oh my what a difference. I still truly believe in LOVE, PEACE, human RELATIONSHIPS, and basic human TRUTH. Things I embraced as a young man. Neil sang about these things … beautifully and brilliantly. And his fan base grew. But he misinterpreted the fandom. He lives in a psycho-leftist echo chamber. Among a group of Hollywooden CA elites … fellow millionaires and billionaires who have grown bitter and nasty. Neil’s fans aren’t all that way.

      It’s Neil and his ilk who have turned CA to shit. And now he DARES sing derisively about the kind of man who dares to reverse the malaise Neil’s pals have engineered? Yeah, he’s a bitter old man. It’s funny … I keep getting softer and more generous in my old age. I don’t have the same testosterone edge I had as a youth. I wax nostalgic for the BEST parts of my youth and my generation … but have the wisdom and perspective (if not intelligence) to discern what has worked well … and what was/is complete disaster. And a $37T National Debt is a disaster waiting to happen. God Bless Elon Musk and his big-balled tecchies for exposing the ROT. Just as old Neil has exposed his own ROT.

  11. I am a boomer by the accident of 2 months. Yes I have had the advantages of a boomer. I did not vote Progressive. Never have.

    Boomers (most, not all): yes, you are selfish. You screwed over your progeny for fear and hatred. You have had the most opportunities, ease and support of any “peoplekind” in the history of the world.

    Own it.

    Hopefully before your progeny lose everything you will find some humility and compassion to fix it.

    I’m not holding my breath. It’s really, really tough to be humble enough to see oneself from another’s point of view. Far easier to bask in TDS.
