  1. Two things I find rather cool about climate change, that we keep finding human settlements under water (i.e. Doggerland), and we keep finding human settlements under the melting ice (i.e. Greenland.) Why I find this cool is because it shows that, regardless of how mother nature kicks our collective butts, we can still adapt and overcome.

    1. Also reminds us that it was much warmer in the recent past despite the “hottest year ever” claims.

      1. I have no proof, but I suspect those kids were heavily sedated to sit through that.

Thren Tiny Tim up and married Miss Vicky and that was a big surprise to everyone. I guess they both were insanely in love. Or just insane. Whatever.

    1. 1968: teenagers listened to Tiny Tim’s recordings
2025: many of that generation voted for Carnage

      Coincidence?

  2. Drive the road south of Makena, Maui. Lots of Billionaire Democrat gated properties right on the beach. If the ocean is rising, why do the climate scare mongers keep setting up housekeeping there?

          1. I feel sorry for tea totallers: when they get up in the morning that’s the best they’re gonna feel all day.
            (forget who authored this joke).

          2. I’m reminded of the lines from the song Sunday Morning Coming Down:

“And the beer I had for breakfast wasn’t bad,
so I had one more for dessert.”

          3. “I feel sorry for tea totallers: when they get up in the morning that’s the best they’re gonna feel all day.
            (forget who authored this joke)”

I believe it was Dean Martin.

  3. If you told somebody to sell their property to you cheap because soon tigers will be invading the area, would that be considered fraud?

  4. Geebus that delighted me.
Long ago I confronted an erstwhile eco-maniac friend with this paradox.
His response was an absolute beauty:
“Yeah, but these wealthy people will be able to move to higher ground in good time.”.

  5. And as usual a delayed reaction to Kate’s masterful thread title:
    Y2Kyoto Baywatch.

  6. Stupid people worry about the climate.
Smart people make money off stupid people because there’s one born every minute.

  7. I remember in 1990 listening to John Gormleys in Saskatoons CKOM talk radio. He was interviewing someone from the WWF just after Gores Movie and he said that Florida will be under water in ten years in the year 2000. That was 25 years ago. I guess I wasted my purchase on Scuba diving equipment.

What a hoax that cost taxpayers literally Trillions of wasted dollars.

    1. Those dollars weren’t “wasted.” They went into the deserving pockets of those who set up the scam … and have continued w/ it to this day.

      That’s the *real* climate crisis.

  8. Take your pick.. Climate Change is one of many liberal delusions.. For GOSH SAKES, its politics and as such, its 100% horse chips!.. Awful, awful stuff.. We have gone from cleaner is better (true) to we want control over everything :(..

Grift, doesn’t come with an off button..

  9. If and when banks stop issuing 25 year mortgages for waterfront properties, you can assume there is a problem.

A lot of waterfront cities have problems because they’re tapping into local ground aquifers to provide water.

So the sea is not rising, the ground is sinking.
