National Post- Accused Filipino festival killer was under supervision of mental health team, says ministry
The statement from British Columbia’s Ministry of Health says Adam Kai-Ji Lo was being followed closely under the Mental Health Act, and there was “no indication of violence” in his presentation to the health team.
Interim Vancouver Police Chief Steve Rai said the morning after the attack that the suspect had a “significant history of interactions with police and health-care professionals related to mental health.”
So killing all those people was a team effort.

And the mental health team has been fired now right? At least suspended? No? Nothing? Fail.

I would suggest that having a significant history of interactions with police IS an “indication of violence.”
Not necessarily. Those interactions could have just been him threatening self-harm and someone called the cops, and the cops took him to hospital. Knew a young woman many years ago with Borderline Personality Disorder. She had had many such interactions with police, none of which were violent.
The Professionals Have Things Well In Hand.

How much do you want to bet that this guy was being treated with an SSRI i.e.Prozac,Paxil).Its been linked with EVERY mass shooting for years.
This kind of issue/problem is becoming endemic. This Country has an awful lot of lawyers; thete is no good reason the issue cannot be addressed. Solutions should reflect the will, morals, values, ethics etc. of the citizens of the Country, not the ‘justice industry’. NCR is not acceptable. Revisit it, if desired every five or ten years.

So then … just as portrayed in One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, the automobile murderer was just a harmless, lovable, scamp of a mental patient. A mostly peaceful mental patient.
And what’s the government’s remedy? Lock up the mental patients? Don’t be silly … they’re launching a blue-ribbon study of how to lock-down all street gatherings. The SANE need to be locked up … while the insane run amok.
Glad someone finally noticed.
And, it is a “global” phenomenon.
Locking Down the law-abiding targets is always the solution.
