Unconfirmed reports of several fatalities, video from the scene is disturbing.
Vancouver police confirm: A number of people have been killed and multiple others are injured after a driver drove into a crowd at a street festival at E. 41st Avenue and Fraser shortly after 8 p.m. tonight. The driver is in custody. We will provide more information as the investigation unfolds.

Incident took place on E 43 Ave, a street that had been barricaded for this Filipino festival and being used as a food service area.
100 km/h (if that is accurate) is insanely fast for in-city driving. Probably 2X posted speed limit.
It’s not a major street and normally it would be a 30 km/hr limit.
So 3X+. Seems intentional.
