  1. The Virtue Of Human Misery.
That Mother Jones wants all dogs killed and humans to be even more miserable than they are today is unsurprising. Green Misery is the be-all end-all for Carney and all the other enviro whack jobs.

  2. Though I’m a Crazy Conservative Cat Lady, I can still appreciate dogs. My theory is that the Almighty made cats to show us what we are (ridiculous, tricksy and death-on-pussyfeet) and dogs to show us what we should be – loyal. loving and obedient.

No wonder totalitarians don’t like ’em.

  3. Everyday some pissant judge orders the Trump administration to do or not do some bullshit item in order to derail Trump’s agenda

If this continues Trump should consider declaring Marshall law and get it done. That is what happens when a sector of society becomes an ungovernable quagmire of mindless rage.

It’s as though the left will not be happy until there is a fascist regime in DC – one side or the other. It won’t matter which side … totalitarianism is what it is.

  4. Dogs are multifarious and insidious? Is that why Mohammed hated them? And they’re ‘haram’?

No. Dogs are a better judge of character than most people. And they didn’t like Mohammed.

  5. That Judge is wrong about everything and a corrupt activist that should have declined to hear the case because she’s not impartial.

“She was the presiding judge over the criminal trial of then-former U.S. president Donald Trump over his alleged attempts to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election, including the events leading up to the attack on the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021. The case never went to trial and was dismissed after Trump won the 2024 presidential election.”

  6. Unruly or poorly trained dogs can be annoying, but usually it is the owner’s fault.

First, buying on impulse can be a huge mistake. Unless the main adult is committed for over a decade to be personally responsible for training and caring for a dog, problems can arise. Children vary in their ability to care for dogs. Teenagers get distracted.

Second, breeds and breeding matter. Dogs do have a genetic history, as they were bred for certain activities. The worst dogs in a dog park have owners who usually too casual and do not monitor their off-leash pets. Many owners get sucked in to buying a “rescue” dog, as if bad behaviour can be excused by moral superiority.

Thirdly, when a dog is introduced to a household, he or she can not stay in a crate all day, nor be tied up in a yard for long hours, nor be given free reign. This is true for puppies, older dogs and toddlers. Serious time and training is needed from day one. One-word commands are easier for a new dog to understand.

Dogs enjoy a predictable routine. If a puppy chews on your leather boots, that is a mistake that the owner made, by not anticipating what a dog might do while unsupervised. Never yell at your dog, as they often forget what they did to make you mad. Distraction works well with new dogs, like toddlers, a “NO” reserved for occasions when “caught-in-the-act”.

I always crate my “urban” dog when I go out, as I never want her to bark at passers-by. She likes her crate, as it often has a treat and always water, and she sleeps in it by choice with the door open.

Forthly, make sure that the dog is assessed before you buy, always by a qualified vet, and given any need vaccinations.

Finally, I prefer to buy from a reputable breeder, as a dog should have a clear genetic history and up-to-date vaccinations, as well as knowledge about general medical problems with the particular breed, advice about their personalities and need for exercise.

Dogs are probably easier on the environment than people.

    1. Our pets are over vaccinated. Yes they need vaccinations. No they do not need a yearly rabies booster.

  7. I’m not religious, but dogs are a gift from God.
    Animals are also our relatives.
I’m sure GYM is closely related to baboons.
