Poilievre’s key energy policy: a National Energy Corridor for pipe, power and rail. Here’s his speech, verbatim.
The reality is, we largely have a such a corridor already from Moose Jaw to a third of the way through Ontario. It’s Quebec and New Brunswick that are the issue.
And just a couple hours after Poilievre spoke, we recorded this with Andrew Scheer:
Pipeline Online Podcast, Ep. 6: Andrew Scheer on a National Energy Corridor and a whole lot more, including tariffs, Clean Electricity Regulations and coal-fired power.

I hate to say this but. As a conservative looking for a place to vote. This guy is a lib-lite. So again I’ll be voting none of the above.
Do you enjoy paying the carbon tax?
There are 118 elements in the periodic table. If tax on one is eliminated there are still 117 that the government will figure out a way to tax.
Death and taxes are a fact of life. If not on carbon then on Silicon or Aurum or some other element.
An element never forgets!
Do you really think PP will keep his word?
If he’s that honest why won’t he promise fully defund of MSM. He’s already said he will keep pumping money into Quebec CBC.
This guy’s hero is pm Shit Head. That to me says it all.
He’s the poster boy for the oxymoron HONEST POLITICIAN.
Ynot
Enjoy paying the carbon tax.
It’s top priority, TOP PRIORITY…
…right after we finish planting a billion trees, get the high-speed rail up and running, and 5 million new housing units built…
…with money we don’t have.
But we’ve got that covered. We’ll use the carbon tax money we rake in from the carbon tax we eliminated.
We promise. Scout’s honor. Pinkie swear.
You want it built? Tell Quebec it help them leech off of Alberta. That should get every federal party on board.
I would recommend using the emergency measures act to freeze bank accounts of any politicians, NGOs, political parties, or people that oppose the energy corridor.
Putting on my Amazing Kresken hat, I’m gonna boldly predict that there will be no such energy corridor ever built in my lifetime and Canada will continue to Canada no matter who is elected.
Yep.
We are one giant dumpster fire.
Dear Quebec and NB. We have recalculated the equalization formula to take into account revenue lost due to you being stupid lazy inbred frogs. Guess what, it equals what you are getting, so no more equalization.
Bonus question: Why don’t French girls from New Brunswick like Labatt Blue? “Makes my pu$$y sore.”
Heh.
Should we tell them?
Pipelines going south, are cheaper to build and provide better return on investment.
I too do not believe east West pipeline ,built inside Canada ,will get built.
Too many short sighted parasites along the way.
Too many little Emperors.
And too many brain dead minions of Gang Green.
Just as fire is needed to cure dead standing timber..
Only hard times will “cure” the free stuff army.
Our “Best Educated Citizens” are so sure of their wisdom and knowledge that they insist on being taxed out of existence.
Carbon Dioxide is bad…
DiHydrogen Monoxide is a deadly industrial solvent.
Save the trees by grinding them into wood pellets.
Energy comes from batteries..
The 5 laws of Human Stupidity should be required reading.
Ditto The Emperor’s New Clothes.
However George Carlin’s rants will have to do..
It appears that the wished for pipeline has been ‘bundled” with a larger agreement [as my Internet provider would put it]
// Feds, provinces agree to create national trade and energy corridor
Prime Minister Mark Carney says the federal government and the provinces have agreed
to create a national trade and energy corridor.
The announcement also comes alongside a major new commitment
to eliminate federal duplication by recognizing provincial assessments for major projects,
what Carney called a “one project, one review.”
That’s as New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt told Brunswick News on Friday night that
“there’s never been better alignment” over a west-east pipeline project, with Quebec seemingly now onside. //

A government with Guilbault at the cabinet table is going to allow pipelines? Sure Jan.
They’ll do their usual song-and-dance of saying they support one, but slap so many impossible-to-meet conditions upon it, that nobody with any sense in the private sector will touch it. Then the Liberals will either throw their hands up and say, hey we’ve tried but it seems nobody really wants to do it, too bad so sad, all while winking at Quebec that this is exactly what Quebec wanted; or, they’ll say, guess what, we need to set up an eleventy-billion-dollar slush fund to build this thing because it’s too important to leave to the private sector. All firms in good standing with the Liberal Party of Canada welcome to apply for funding. No relevant experience required, nor are actual results. Please take a quantity of brown envelopes as you leave the room following your presentation.
Of course they will.
Anyone thinking differently also believes that one day the coyote will catch the roadrunner and Charlie Brown will kick the football
2015 would have said this is possible, now forget it !
In saying this trudeau Era is mission accomplished, I don’t give a rats ass about Canada as a nation. Show the west the door, lets get out as soon as possible
Love the comments.
Conservatives need to be completely disillusioned before moving onto what comes next.
On CTV Winnipeg, after PP speaking about oil via Churchill, the talking head says, “it’ll be up to the natives”, well, it was a nice idea while it lasted…………
Nutless, gutless, chinless cuck Andrew Scheer…flush that turd once and for all.
