the credits from Western, then a lot from Brock and the BSc
followed by McMaster and the BA then back to Western ending 2022.
most of the tuition was free as an employee benefit or senior citizen bursary.
bottom line? the wokeness became UNBEARABLE.

Imagine if that much government money was pumped into a system that carried over the foundations of civilization and human progress through time, that taught young people what it takes to move the ball forward like freedom of thought and speech?
People who wanted to conserve a way of life that advanced through thoughtful measured progress would win every time and the difference in political parties would be quibbling over the details.
I cannot recall with certainty… but the highest quarterly tuition I paid at UC Berkeley in 1978 was approx. $250.00. My housing costs were MUCH higher. My BOOKS and Lab supplies usually cost more than tuition per quarter!
When Obama moved ALL student loans into the Federal Govt. college costs exploded. When my own son attended UCLA … his tuition (that I paid) was hiked higher EVERY SINGLE QUARTER he attended. We ended up paying about $2,500/quarter tuition. In fact the quarterly hikes had become such a JOKE that the school instituted a tuition stabilization program wherein they now ensure no rate hikes during your 4-year stay. Tuition is now about $15,000.00/yr or about double what we paid.
When Obama installed student loans as a department of the Federal Govt. … Obama transformed students from “academics” to welfare recipients and ATM’s for the colleges. And the colleges started making massive “withdrawals” from those ATM’s. They expanded their student bodies to include the unqualified and unprepared. They expanded remedial education programs, and they instituted USELESS degree programs in eco-studies, women’s studies, left handed grossly obese black woman studies, etc. And the colleges got $rich … the “students” got poor and indebted… and then Biden tried to wipe out all student loans indebtedness hence certifying the welfare model of it all.
Yes … we need a massive higher education reset. To coin a phrase we have a “broken higher education system” that is LOOTING the taxpayer and crushing marginal students under impossible debt.
Academia is the church for the progressive state. Academia invents the theories, the propaganda, the intellectual illusions to backup all the politics that progressives use to keep the masses in support of their power. DEI, global warming, COVID and the totalitarian healthcare industry, it’s all there for you to see. Of course they are well funded.
