A massive luxury RV parking lot in City of Industry, California, has been taken over by homeless squatters.
The lot, which carries 130 campers worth $6.5 million, has become a crime-ridden homeless encampment over the past two years after a private party who bought the RVs abandoned the area, Fox 11 Los Angeles reported.
Videos of the scene show the parking lot riddled with massive piles of trash and one of the campers engulfed in flames.
Liberal Nirvana. So lovely.
Now … imagine I was homeless in SOCAL … ? City of Industry … or the Santa Monica Beach? Check the map. Seems the homeless really do have mental problems.
Did someone really abandon a whole field of trailers or did they intentionally set this up as a homeless camp? With what money?
At first the company owning the trailers hired security to kick the homeless out. But over time they were inundated and just gave up. Think 10, then 100, then 1,000 zombies.
One of the homeless started threatening the other homeless and now charges them up to $600 per month to live in these abandoned trailers with no running water and no electricity. I don’t see these places as homeless shelters as much as drug dens where they can get their drugs and not be too bothered while using them.

Those were some nice campers, while not Airstreams, certainly capable…
The smallest of base models starts at $44k US
Why didn’t the owner see this coming? Stupid or collecting insurance because of no sales? I guess he needs to rent land in Nevada for storage…!
RV sales boomed w/ COVID checks plus easy low interest rate credit.
Things are different now.
Is Randy Quaid there?
Independence Day.
Altho…. talking to lots of RV owners… and the hassles and repair bills and such… I’m betting some of them would’ve asked that their unit be moved close to the homeless. Just saying.
