Carney is a climate zealot. He may try to fool Canadians into thinking he wants new pipelines, liquified natural gas (LNG) terminals and other hydrocarbon infrastructure, but he doesn’t. Far from it. He wants half the existing ones gone by 2030 and the rest soon after.
Perfect, finish the tanking of this place. We are so vulnerable, a year should do it. I might use some of my actual money to buy a summer place and hire an out of work Librano grifter as my personal gopher. They will be treated…..poorly.

Reading those 17 points, the weasel word “sustainable” is written 14 times, as “sustainable,” “sustainably,” “sustain,” and “sustainability.”
It’s a euphemism for “impoverish,” and “flatten.” What else do these 17 points imply?

Carney has never been elected to anything. He will be the first PM in more than a century NOT to hold a seat in the House. Typical of the LPC propaganda arm (the CBC) not to mention this little fact. Also typical of Pravda North to ignore Carney’s intent to bring the carbon tax back under another name.
And because of Trudeau finally filling the senate, there wasn’t a senate seat for him either.

Carney is a lying sack of $hit. But his constituents are a combination of low IQ types and brainwashed zombies, so his moronic claim of getting rid of the carbon tax (with something worse) worked for him.
So his go-to is likely telling his enemies want he knows they want to hear, while planning and doing exactly the opposite. Because it’s too late to do anything once the wrecking balls have done their job.
Something a future conservative party should remember well.
Mark Carney, a man who can equal Trudeau in arrogance but with some real intelligence. This actually makes him even more dangerous.
He was raised in Edmonton so you would think he would see the value in fossil fuels which heat the homes and schools on a typical blue sky, sunny day at -30 in January.
You would be wrong.
You can take the Alberta out of the boy if you send him to Harvard/Oxford/Wall Street & Threadneedle Street. You make him a man comfortable anywhere elites congregate while despising the flyover people who live somewhere else.
The arrogance is strong. Case in point while “campaigning” for the liberal leadership he gave 2 interviews about pipelines. In English he was for pipelines across Canada. In French he said this does not apply in Quebec. Some call this hypocrisy, I call it the liberal way.
Let us also note that while he was the Governor of the Bank of England he basically campaigned against Brexit. When the British voted for it and to leave the EU instead of accepting the will he mounted a rear guard insurrection. He brought in monetary policy which exacerbated inflation levels and promoted “net zero” which caused energy prices to soar, hindering Brexit and impoverishing the British people.
Attaboy Mark, will you follow the same template in Canada or do you have a new and improved plan to royally screw Canada?
