    That noted, Carney probably knows that the only way to get foreign investment into the Turdhole Dominion now is to give some type of BOGO offer.

  11. I don’t get how you Canadians afford your homes. I see very drab looking homes for sale in the Toronto area for 7 figures. Buy a house in Buffalo and commute, you could afford to commute in comfort in a BMW 7 series and still save a ton of money.

      Because once a week or more you’d be sitting in traffic for 4 hours one way and on a good day it would be 2 1/2 hours each way.

  12. As the Liberals keep jerking the Canadian economy into an abomination of their fantasies dreamt in the dark places, those plans starve the bounty of the Western Provinces to enrich the Laurentian Elites, banks and bureaucracy.

    These are a direct plans to enslave the immigrants into a new ponzi scheme, much like the CPP, EI, etc. The government competes with developers and builders and dreamers who make plans for building dwellings according to win/lose – profit/bankruptcy and count the costs of doing business according to legislation and financial rules. Government has no regard for those laws. These turn into slush funds which have bottomless wells of money, taxing or shifting money from other areas to keep the taps of money flowing.

    As the taxes increase, it throws rocks into the backpacks of debt on the citizens, making it harder to afford a home of their own, sucking the drive and life out of them. This them makes it easier to manipulate and turn the people into debt slaves.

    Evil has a face, it is staring at us and telling us how evil their are.

  14. Carney was elected? By who? Can I see a sample ballot with his name and office on it? Can anyone offer any anecdotal evidence of going to a polling place and casting this ballot? Who were the people on the ballot who ran opposing Carney? Is this what passes for democratic action in a nation that claims to be fair and free?

Let the Canadian taxpayer, who can’t afford a home, bankroll a foreign investor with a Canadian backed mortgage fund for twenty-five years to buy real-estate and then rent it out to the taxpayer, who couldn’t afford to buy it in the first place, and is now going to pay for it twice through this financial dream scheme. Where do these geniuses come from?

  23. Governments at all levels are terrified that the bottom is falling out from the Canadian housing market. Foreign investment is probably seen as one way to put a floor under housing prices before this takes out a bank or two.
