The head of FBI field office in New York, James Dennehy, has just been forced to resign his post. He claims he was not given a reason why, but the Department of Justice has accused his office of refusing to hand over a trove of Epstein documents to Attorney General Pam Bondi.
After President Trump was elected, Dennehy also told his office to “dig in.”

Defying the Attorney General of the United States is more than adequate reason for his dismissal. I hope all this dismissals come also with lifetime bans from future employment by the federal government.
This is a good test of Trump’s ability to drain the swamp.
My guess is that Patel will be all over this to demonstrate he has control.
