Chrystia Freeland’s Liberal leadership campaign has been targeted by “co-ordinated and malicious activity” traced back to a WeChat account accused of having ties to the Chinese government, according to the task force set up to monitor foreign election interference.

According to the Security and Intelligence Threats to Elections Task Force (SITE), which is made up of senior intelligence and security officials, the activity was traced to WeChat’s “most popular news account — an anonymous blog that has been previously linked by experts at the China Digital Times to the People’s Republic of China.”

A man who holds no seat in parliament, will become prime minister without an election, and is a fanboy of WEF and George Soros. And the media is pushing a story tonight that Canadians prefer Carney instead of Poilievre.

    2. Carney was for five years the chair of the board of directors at Brookfield Asset Management. During that time the huge company grew its investments in China. Brookfield has a director on the board of directors at the Canada-China Business Council. I passed a lot of information to various media, but nobody seems to care. This after the vast China interference scandal.

    Regardless of whoever wins the next federal election, know that the hearts and minds of Canadians are untethered from the characteristics one remembers their grandparents having.
    If the Conservatives won the greatest majority ever, the chance of the #Libranos winning the next election after that, and undoing the entire works is as distant as simply electing a new leader of the #Libranos who isn’t a walking psycho textbook of malfeasance.

    While I continue to advocate for AB/Sask. separating from tier 2 Canada, even while given last month’s polling that the Conservatives will win the next election, know that Canada’s future is undone by 1 person being given the reins as the new #Librano leader.

  9. For the next federal election there will be 343 ridings.

    Liberal Party leadership rules assign 100 points to each riding. In each riding points will be allocated to each leadership candidate proportionately to the number of first place votes each received.

    The points of all ridings are tallied. 17151 points to win (343 ridings x 100 points x 50%).

    If no candidate receives 17,151 points, the lowest vote getter is dropped, and their first place votes will be redistributed according to the second choice on their ballots.

    We’ll see lots of polls in the next month, but given that most polls are only 300 to 1500 people, I rather doubt their accuracy. Also I suspect many polling organizations will be supporting one of the candidates, so they may slant their polls.

    And the wild card is the second place votes.

  10. Sam Cooper has done great work on this file, but the msm keeps spewing comfort medicine.
    Carney is in Xi’s pocket just as both Trudeaus are/were.
    With a bit of good campaigning and the anti-Trump/America whipped up here, it’s possible Carney can win the next election, especially if they hold it off until 2026 as they are legally allowed to do.

    It’s a shame we’re such a compliant and complacent nation, politicians here need not fear anarchists of the Czolgosh type.

    So wait, a politician, who is hated by a goodly portion of the population was “disparaged” and the red alert needs to be sent out.

    Was it “disinformation”? we don’t know because the government is hiding it from Canadians. They also don’t identify the accounts involved, only claiming that it was from the “most popular news account” but the interaction numbers are way too low for it to be the “most popular” when looking at Statista showing the “People’s Daily News” getting 972 million interactions in a day. 140,000 interactions doesn’t seem to be a whole lot.

    What is the government trying to obfuscate?

  20. Not following this very closely, is Carney going to get a safe byelection seat if he wins the leadership? Because, to be prime minister, he needs to be an elected m.p., correct?

    Or can they appoint him to the Senate and get it to happen?

    It will be bad enough if he wins and serves any length of time as p.m., but if he drags it out to October, he could expose Liberals to extinction.

    That’s a legacy I could get behind. Go Carney!
