    This should make a nice pretext for bombing the crap outta Iran, Qatar, Turkey, etc, when they send in their jihadis and weapons to sabotage Trumps plan.

        After having been propagandized into “supporting” the Iraq War and learning what a tragic fiasco it was early on, I became keen on Trump (and may have been one of the first to say so here) precisely because of his anti-war / foreign entanglement pronouncements.

        I like The Donald but am starting to think he’s mad (as in insane).
        But let’s face it: who would not be after the PERSECUTION he suffered over 9 years? The US being involved in Gaza is a jaw-dropper. This is not the Donald Trump I “voted” for.

            But as Jamie also observes, we are looking at a major reversal of the no-foreign-entanglements, foreign adventurism positions before the election. I had also pointed out to Jamie that none of this stuff was mentioned in the campaign, which is standard electioneering and that our PP ought to be cut some slack along these lines.

      I thought Bibi was gonna get up and dance a jig when Trump (whom Michael Malice has called a ‘human hand grenade) started talking about taking over and rebuilding Gaza. Let’s not discount Trump just causing some mischief to see the usual lefties start bleeding from their ears.

    1. It was only part of Egypt, which only because a country out of the Ottoman Empire due to Sykes-Picot (ie. the British and French) creating it in 1922, because of Egypts illegal military attack in 1948 over what was left of the British Mandate for Palestine.

      This is just like Judea and Samaria was called the “Occupied Territory” (by Jordan) or sometimes the “Disputed Territory” because of the Jordanian invasion in 1948, and Jordan only became a country in 1946, again out of the defunct Ottoman Empire.

  4. Thinking Trump is biting off more than he can chew here. Even if it were to be a success (highly doubtful), the media would frame it as a disaster, so this is a no-win situation. Europe can fix this mess, it’s closer to them, plus they have saved trillions over the years with the U.S. guaranteeing their security the last 80 years – they can spend the money to “fix” Gaza. Trump needs to concentrate on MAGA and not get involved in what will definitely be a “foreign entanglement”.

How about demanding reparations from Britain, France, Egypt and Jordan, because Egypt illegally seized Gaza, Jordan illegally seized Judea and Samaria, and the British and French who created so many problems with their imperial ambitions and Sykes-Picot Agreement that drew borders that put rival warring clans into the same borders under their newly created countries. Of course that will never happen and they couldn’t afford it, but it would be an interesting exercise to lay blame, where blame is due.

      Look at England and France now, being overrun by those they tried to colonize and civilize.

      Who were the Rohingya’s that claim they are native to Myanmar? They are Bengali’s imported into that area as cheap labour by the British.

      Israel was just about barren under the Ottoman Empire with Jews trying to go back to their homeland buying up land from the mid-19th Century, but post WWI under the British Mandate of Palestine, the Brits imported all sorts of people mostly Arabs, but including African’s into the area, again as cheap labour. You may notice some Gazan’s are much darker than others.

  7. The Left dutifully supports China’s Belt and Road “Initiative”: the literal takeover of nations and/or infrastructure “to enhance economic connections and collaboration”. More than 140 countries have chained themselves to the Dragon, 75% of the world’s population and 50% of the world’s GDP.

    We have been at war since November 2008. Trump is merely insisting we wake up to it.

  8. The land allotted for Palestine was Jordan and Egypt, if they won’t take the Palies then the other Islamic Nations can pony up. Trump is forcing the Islamic Nations to put up or shut up.

  9. First time I’ve seen a Tom Luongo piece show up at SDA – though a quick search shows he’s on Francisco’s radar. Videos with him are everywhere – he does tend to rant and curse a fair bit. His main value is that he’s been in tune with the dealings of the US Fed and their raising of interest rates. He was also predicting the audits of US agencies we’re now seeing in late November/early December, i.e. shortly after the US election.

  10. Like you could ever occupy Gaza without thousands of deaths. Trump has gone batshit crazy in his second term. Perhaps Canada, France, Denmark, and Panama need a military alliance for mutual protection from Der Fuhrer Trump.
