  1. All illegal drug addicts are a danger to themselves and others. They need to be contained and treated. If they cannot be rehabilitated, they need to be permanently institutionalized.

    1. No they aren’t. There are tons of drug addicts who get along just fine. Drug prohibitions could use some re-education however.

      1. The only drug addict that can be helped is one that wants to be ,otherwise.
        The first statement is correct.
Your wasting your time if someone doesn’t want the help.
And anyone thinking a covered dead body on a street in Canada, is like discarded chocolate wrapper, is either an idiot, insane, or trying to hard to be open minded instead of what they seem they are : a sheltered morally brain dead, twit, that hasn’t lived much.

  2. What’s the problem? The kids walk past with little to no reaction whatsoever. Why? Cause they’ve seen this all before. They recognize the government issued white sheet over the drugged-out dead person. Meh. Just another lesson they learn near their school. This is the new normal. The new normal of … as Gad Saad named it … “suicidal compassion”. We’ve effectively suicided our elementary school kids.

PS … this happens every day in San Francisco … which is why the SF School District has lost 5,000 students in recent years. As Sam Kinison suggested … they all MOVED!! MOOVE! MOOOOOOVEd!!!!

  3. Because when kids see a dead junkie, the first thing they think is “where do I get me some of that?”

  4. When the kids in Calgary are walking on a sidewalk out of school boundaries, they all have to hold hands.
    Don’t break the chain.
I actually think it’d be 20 seconds for the police to be on site if someone were to take a run at them. Unfortunately the same guard isn’t there for what they’re taught in class from the Dept. of Ed.

    1. Marc – is that true when they’re just going to and from school? Can see that when on a school outing, but not before and after school.

  5. Normalize dystopia for the children’s sake.
    Ban millstones.
OK, let’s all go to rainbow camp!
    Retribution now.

    1. And the WORST thing being normalized for our children’s sake? MAP aka Pedophile predators. As if your summary isn’t bad enough

  6. Good Shot Kate. This, in a nutshell, is the insane policy and position of this silly marxist government, heavily infected with TDS.
After all, he has to protect the Poverty Pimp industry and its minions. They might not be able to afford all expenses paid holidays for the whole family, at Disneyland in the poshest Disney hotel. Oh look, isn’t that NDP M P benefitting from the Poverty Pimp Industry?

    1. “British Columbia NDP MLA Jenny Kwan says she was surprised to learn that a $2,695 family trip to Disneyland in 2012.”

So the trip magically happened and she had no clue? that seems on brand, the no clue part.

    2. You would think when a drug promotion entity has the name Portland in it alarm bells would go off.
      But not in Vancouver.
      No…. everything is fine.

  7. Degrading the dignity of human beings is the lesson the left wants these kids to learn.

Future leftists from our public schools will have less of a problem with government mandates to jab people, eliminate the handicapped, sick, or depressed, rationing healthcare based on race, colour, or creed.

Human beings are a means to an end for leftists, an input for some production towards utopia.
