    1. Pretty hard being tough when you’ve been a bullshitter for so long and it’s got you into high positions . And that’s Canada in a nutshell.
This is going to be good.

    2. I was using the analogy of walking into a gun fight with a pair of safety scissors because it’s not safe to run holding a pair of scissors

    3. Not a wooden spoon, more like a finger “gun”. The type that gets five-year-olds suspended from kindergarten.

  1. Apparently Trump noticed Jr’s comment about his election being an “affront to women”.

Apparently Trump noticed that G20 video showing Jr. mocking Trump.

Apparently Trump noticed that the “democracy” to the north never had a single word to say about US Lawfare against political opponents.

Apparently Trump noticed that you couldn’t find a kind word about him in any Canadian Media anywhere, anyhow, anytime.

Apparently Trump noticed that Canada also has no borders.

Apparently Trump also noticed that Canada’s Armed Forces barely exist.

Apparently Trump noticed that Canada is run by a bunch of lying, socialist Swampsters.

Apparently Trump noticed that Canada is not a real country and needs to be forced to do the right thing.

Apparently Trump has noticed that Canada is a Liberal Third World Shithole-In-Training and has decided to give a little push.

NOW. Canadians are going to notice pain. Lots and lots.

Well deserved considering that it’s a country that re-elected Junior 3 times.

If that doesn’t deserve dissolution, what does?

    1. I’d bet Trump also has access to the list of parliamentarians who were working with foreign governments.

Trump might also have access to other intelligence agency documents regarding Trudeau and the Liberal Party. I’m sure the Trudeau Liberals haven’t engaged in any corruption or fraud so they probably have nothing worry about.

    2. Indeed. It seems , once again, talking common sense with other Canadians is impossible as they are caught in the grips of their TDS, and want to lash out childishly, cutting off their nose to spite their face.
      It’s beer and popcorn time.
For myself, it means going doing to the wine shop and cleaning out the shelves of my fave California red, as it seems likely Commie Ebby is ready to lash out and “show them”. That $13 red is superior to almost all Canadian red plonk priced up to $50 per. That defines the whole Can-Am dispute. Superior American products vs overpriced Canadian mediocrity.
FYI, the Corpse right now is having a love affair marathon, promoting all their Liberal saints and heroes, in their run for leadership and to save Canadastan from that awful Orange Hitler guy. It is to barf.

      1. yep. when Donald got the favourable lawsuit against CNN l mentioned it to the proprietor of a nearby breakfast nook whom l KNOW to be an adamant anti-Trump.
after that the joviality and friendly gratitude for my patronage vanished.
meh. there are 2 more within walking distance and another in bicycle weather.

      2. Meh. In Ontario any decent California wine costs well above $20 per bottle (more like $25 per). Most of the wines under the price are not very good (I’m being polite). I’m in Florida where I can get the decent wines at around $15 to $20 per bottle but after you add sales tax and exchange you are pretty close to Ontario prices at the LCBO. There is much better value in Ontario in French, Italian and Spanish wines than California wines. I find the European wines are expensive here (taxes??), much more so than in Ontario after taxes and exchange.

        1. We’re closer to Cali, hence transport costs are less.
Everything Wine is the chain, and they specialize in large wholesale purchases. They carry stock that the Liquor Stores don’t. LDB doesn’t like foreign competition.
There are many BC wines that claim to be “award winning”, but are truly nothing special and overpriced. A lot of hype doesn’t outweigh substandard product.

          1. I favour reds from Argentina, and I live in the Okanagan.
Now that Javier runs things, I feel good about drinking my affordable, good malbec.
The Okanagan wines are costly and, those I’ve sampled, ain’t that great.

        2. I just returned from Italy. The food & drink are vastly superior and significantly cheaper than here at home. Seriously considering a move upon retirement. The overpriced mediocrity that is Canada saddens me.

      3. Same here on the wine, my favorite California red and white are vastly superior to the battery acid and grape juice offerings of B.C. wineries.

Last week the media stated that B.C. buys 20% of our electricity needs from the Americans, so if our commie Preem Eby does retaliate, will we experience brownouts for the first time ever?

      4. Although wine and liquor were essential during covid ,not so much now. Besides the government is giving you access to all the MJ you want , and in many places any drug you want. Of course, few are addressing the issues Trump has stated and prefer a war in order to get Mark Carney elected. It is apparent by polls , 82% of Canadians support this. Of course there is no real government in Canada to negotiate with. So a Carny as leader seems appropriate for this circus. I think the price of admission may be very steep.

    3. Apparently he may have noticed that during his last term that the DOJ effort to extradite a Chinese national out of Vancouver to stand trial in a New York court room on trade violations were being slow walked by Canadian authorities.

    4. Canadians are upset that Americans have started talking about Canadians the way Canadians have always talked about Americans.

    1. Her headlines have become part of our family’s vocabulary. “Tommy Douglas, not dead enough” “what’s the opposite of diversity? University” were my faves until this one. On point!!

    2. She is a genius! I’d take my hat off to her, but I never wear my hat in the house! wsj!

    3. I’ve said it multiple times … Kate could make a $$$$$ killing working as a Copyrighter or Creative Director at any NYC Madison Ave. Advertising shop.

I have a very, close friend … in that business … and he’s GOOD … really GOOD at turning a 3-word or less slogan that paints a masterpiece picture. Frankly, Kate makes my friend Galen look like an amateur.

      Just Do It

  2. The entirety of the Canadian gov’t response to the border and tariff threats sound more like kids in grade 7 arguing, with no basis which addresses the actual problems. The Turd™ has repeatedly referred to Trump in a mocking manner and as though he thought Trump will never be elected again.

Some good points from Premiers Smith and Moe, but only elevated idiocy from the likes of Premier Ford.
I doubt Canada will survive these #Librano years, and expect most of Canada’s various governments and media to blame President Trump and everyone who supports him, while entirely evading the actual problem at the border.

As for the possibility of stopping Canadian built auto parts being brought into the USA, it may trigger a boom in US production that will only find welcome arms throughout the rust belt states. Canada’s gov’t still hoping to have only EV production in Canada is simply not going to happen.

    1. there. that right there. far far far too often especially damaging when practiced by those in power, one must must differentiate between what you WANT to happen and what you THINK will happen. sometimes theyre the same and sometimes out of those you are correct.
not always correct and they dont always coincide. except among the delusional mandate experts, presently liberals.

    2. When your largest voting block consists of criminals and illegal migrants, you puff out your chest against those calling you out for not dealing with aforementioned groups.

  3. Related to this sudden outburst of “patriotism” to combat the threat of Donald Trump, I offer a response to the folks itching for a fight over this.
If it came down to it and the US actually took over would they be willing to physically fight the US invasion?
And if so what exactly would they fight it with?
I mean it’s not like they would suddenly want a constitutional right to bear arms would they?

    1. They’ll fight with men’s-room tampons and strongly worded slogans on their X accounts.

      Because guns are icky.

    2. Notice there’s never any mention of what trump wants which is us to stop drug smuggling into the us.

  4. Heard the Ford re-election slogan this morning on the radio. Someone has to fight back against the “Trump tariffs”. Ford claims in a very worried voice.

    1. We have a real problem in Ontario. There’s no one competent to vote for in this election. You get insane Ford, or the insane Liberals, or the insane NDPee. That’s it.

Who am I going to support here? Some tiny PPC party that’ll never even move the needle? We’re f-ed.

      1. It’s pretty much like that right across the country. Pleasantly surprised with Danielle Smith though.

  5. LOL…He called Trudeau “Governor Trudeau” today. I’m sure it was just a mistake on his part and not at all intentional.

Trump: “I would love to see Canada be the 51st state…”
As for Doug Ford I guess losing 1500 jobs and we’re only 4 days in isn’t a big enough incentive to keep his pie hole shut.
Eby? Let’s just say he’s in a footrace with intelligence but he’s way too fast.

    1. One more thing – The U.S. is set to build more than just a few ice breakers for it’s Coast Guard fleet and I guess Trudy and others in the Canadian gov’t wanted a piece of the action.
      Trump’s response: “Why?”

  6. Shooting ourselves is the only thing someone like Eby understands and does. The institutional left is with him.

  7. Heaven forbid that we should build pipelines to ports where we can export our oil, and heaven forbid that we should develop trading relationship bigger than the US.
No – the Liberal plan to shrivel our economy just got accelerated by Trump’s tariff plans.

And I think that will make the Liberal leaders and pretenders to the throne happy.

  8. Eastern and West Coastal Voters love rewarding liars, fools and bandits and cheer when the cretins they elect destroy the Western Canadians economy.
    Seen this too many times.
Westerners are voiceless in the Confederated Kleptocracy of Can Ahh Duh.
    Reform is impossible.

And President Trump has done so much damage to our moronic leaders..In just a few days of trolling.
    exposing the fools so easily.
But if they had not already undermined the ability of Canadians to make a living and alienated every tax paying citizen, none of Mr Trumps lighthearted jabs would have registered.
    WEXIT.
Perhaps a country as sprawling and confused as Canada cannot be governed .

Joining the USA to form Fortress North America may be a very logical way to deal with todays realities.

Stupid inbred Dear Leaders everywhere, leading a cultural suicide.
And waves of freeloading invaders swarming in to loot.
At the invitation of these same inbred twits, against all the tax payers interests.
If you don’t want to see everything you built,to pass on to your own family, given away to people who did not contribute a dime??
    Why you be Racist!
So these fool premiers who advocate suicidal economic retaliations against “Bad Orangeman” are true representatives of most Canadians.

There is a reason Liberals can’t get elected outside of urban enclaves here in the West.
Anywhere that tax payers are the majority occupants of a riding..
When we cancel welfare and fire useless civil servants, most Western Liberal Ridings will become ghost towns.
With all the Not Sees fleeing East to protect their position at the trough.

  9. Hey, I have a wild and crazy idea. It’s so crazy it just might work.

Why doesn’t Canada just take all its DEI, battery plant, and windmill money and use it to secure Canada’s borders?

That’ll really ‘Stump the Trump’ and force him to back down from all his tough tariff talk.

    Yeah… that’ll show him who’s boss.

  10. I saw that Russia wants to put Fauci on trial. Its a win win.. get rid of Fauci and have the Russians send him to a gulag in Siberia.

  11. If President Trump wanted to ruin Canada’s economy without tariffs, he would just have to lock the dollars, $1 US equals $1 CDN.

Instantly no advantage to pay the serfs in Canada at a 30% discount doing what could be done in the US.

Instantly a 30% reduction in the price of goods from the US bought in Canada.

(If my ciphering is backwards on this, I apologize…..)

  12. Why would Canada only become one state? Some foresight is called for here. Each state gets two senators, if I recall.

This is a power vacuum. Better get organized you western people or you will find yourself still licking boots in Toronto and Montreal.

    1. I propose to become a state myself. I shall appoint my ears to the Senate: the left one a Democrat, the right a Republican. I can handle every role except that of tax base, and that’s where my anonymous and sinister backers come in. I hereby petition for admission into the Union as the Commonwealth of Stalking Horse. And if you’re anonymous and sinister, give me a call – we could do business!

  13. When this whole response by Canada to the threats from the US came up I was immediately reminded of the scene from Blazing Saddles. “Stop or the Ni**er get’t it” As the only ni**er there held a gun to his own head threatening to shoot the ni**er.

  14. The map is supposed to show what; a truck route from Vancouver to Toronto?

Won’t trucks going into the US in Washington state have to pay Trump’s 25% tariff?

    1. No, it’s showing -the- truck route from Vancouver to Toronto. Trucks don’t go on the Trans Canada if they can help it. Nightmarish drive in the winter, and a lot longer/more expensive. Fuel tax is cheaper in the USA, right?

And yes, Trump’s 25% will certainly apply. Yee haw.

  15. We can stop the trucks but not the dope pouring in from the port of Vancouver. Yeah I think the payola is a lot more than a free deck for your house now.
