  1. The linked article on ADHD couldn’t be more dead on. My wife is a special education teacher in the grades 4-6 and that diagnosis has become one her biggest problems.

The parents weaponize getting a diagnosis to excuse any bad behavior or lack of effort in their children, the kids themselves throw the diagnosis out even at a young age to excuse anything bad they do or why they don’t get any work done, and the schools are happy to use it as an excuse as keep moving these kids into higher grades even though the school has failed to teach them what they should know.

    1. In grade school, I was the poster child for ADHD, but there was no such thing way back when.

My teachers diagnosed me as a “typical, high-spirited boy”. Of course, that was the diagnosis for about 90% of the boys in grade school. Boisterous, fidgety, prone to chase after every shiny thing, prone to tormenting the girls although you never, ever hit a girl, doing stupid, dangerous stunts because it seemed like a good idea at the time, and subject to “poking the bear” just to see what happens.

I think the teachers worried more about the quiet ones. It’s always the quiet ones who go off the rails.

      1. My best friend of 50+ years definitely had it, because I saw too many times how it affected him in times he was otherwise in the middle of enjoying himself.

And, because not only didn’t he use it as a crutch he never talked about it let alone get a diagnosis .

        1. “Amazingly effective, wasn’t it?”

Yes it was. Actions=consequences was a lesson well learned.

    2. 40+ years ago, a grade school Teacher’s Aid remarked to parents with an ADHD, ADD child struggling with how to deal with the diagnosis. The label had been applied by the “expert” school psychologist and the parents had been frightened to death over their child’s future. The Aid suggested that the parents read TOM SAWYER, as maybe they had forgotten how normal boys act in real life. It helped the parents push back against the system.

  2. Climate communist Carney wants to put the nail in the coffin of canada. Voters wanted same 3 times.

  3. Mahmoud Khalil can call for mass slaughter of Jews because he’s allowed to.
Now if some Honky did so, well Bernie Farber and his gang would be shooting flares at the RCMP or is it CSIS.
Despite the (temporary) OIC of the Authoritarian Liberal Scumbag Party, Jewish Canadians need to get licensed, armed and ammoed up.

    Trudeau is an idiot.
    Smith was elected by Albertans.
They expect her to protect their best interests especially with a POS Prime Minister who thinks westerners shouldn’t be allowed to become Prime Minister.

  4. Well thats it then..I shall vote for Kodos..I mean Carney..
Should the little dweeb succeed Canada will shatter.
I am good with that, for an independent West will be able to buy out the rest of Bankrupt Can Ahh Duh..
    In sensible chunks.
While leaving the most ignorant and arrogant regions to collapse upon themselves.
    Death to Equalization.

    1. Equity Demands It.
You know what’s coming, right? Once the oil and gas industry is completely destroyed, and all provinces are running in the red, equalization will be redefined. The more indebted provinces will then transfer some of their indebtedness to the less indebted provinces. Its only right.

  5. So when Scheer was in charge it was scandalous for the Librano’s that a dual citizen (Bananada/USA) was allowed by the Conservatives to run for pm….horrors. Where would his true allegiance lie? Now they are ok with triple citizen Carney (Bananada/UK/Ireland+rubbing shoulders and whatever else with Ghislane) running to be the PM.

    1. Transferring the wealth fossil fuels built to grifters. Green grifters who have built nothing but failure and an unaffordable infrastructure.

  6. RE: Crying Groups.
Once again confirming that liberalism is a mental disorder. Do not under any circumstance engage in any kind of relationship with these people.

    1. “For an amount less than the fair market value”

Yes, so only Blackrock and other large, well-heeled, investment groups can afford to acquire blocks of properties.

Yes, so elderly parents cannot sell to family member heirs for a stepped-down, affordable, price hence avoiding unaffordable step-up in Property Taxes.

It’s ALL about preserving the massive step-UP in Property taxes when the elderly sell, and their Prop.13 moderated property taxes revert to new usurious rates.

      1. I suspect Newsom wants control of it ALL by the state. God only knows what demonic plan is lurking, but I wouldn’t be surprised by Soviet-Bloc style high-rise housing like I witnessed in the Czech Republic twenty years ago. A 15 minute Gulag, where residents are only permitted one shower a week.

        1. Speaking of which … my little suburb is currently approving a new 7-story apartment block in our downtown. Prior to Newsom and that vile Queer Scott Weiner who eliminated single family zoning and erased all local control over building size and density … there was a three-story height limit in our downtown. No more. The State has MANDATED the urbanization of suburbia. The State has issued a housing MANDATE! You WILL build high rise, high density housing. Period.

And anyone who believes Pacific Palisades will remain a quiet, peaceful, suburban enclave … best READ what these Fascist politicians in CA have MANDATED.

    2. So if I wanted to buy, couldn’t I approach someone saying, “If you are interested in selling, give me a call.” Or “If you are interested in selling, give me a call with your price.”

I’m not making an unsolicited offer.

      Thoughts?
