Perhaps the LA fire should be named the 3 Governors Fire in honor of the 3 men in office between 2009 and 2025. Nothing done to repair Santa Ynez Reservoir since 2009 falls on these 3 competents: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown and Gavin Newsom.
Not too many comments here because there’s only so many ef-bombs you can throw.
However there should be a sense of urgency to get rid of the current leadership as quickly as possible.
Given this is the San Andreas category I’ll note that very few have the forethought, if not temerity, to bring up the additional topic of earthquakes and preparedness or lack thereof.

Oh yea, I was losing sleep over it, now I know.

I hate to defend stupid libs, BUT in 2011 a cover (basically a floating waterproof tarp) was installed. When you look at Google earth and you see those pics you can’t really tell the water level because it is under the cover. If you look at the 2011 pic you can see the liner for the First time. After that it’s hard to tell, but you can sort of tell when the cover hits the bottom. It is empty now since about ’22 when it was drained to repair the cover fir the second time.
