  1. What is the cause of the new fires? I have to surmise that someone is lighting them. Yes the wind is causing them to spread fast, but the wind isn’t the ignition source. Some sick people out there…

    1. There were videos yesterday of tree branches arcing on powerlines, dropping embers. There was also a video of a crackhead lighting a pallet on on fire. Equal odds.

    2. Wow! I JUST heard the reporter on the scene say she was observing a drone flying over the Hollywood Hills fire. Now THAT would a convenient way to stealthily start these fires now wouldn’t it?

      1. Go to the Fox11 feed, roll to -3:20:15. An object emerges from the smoke and travel linearly. It is probably lit by the light of the flames, and slowly fades away.

        Apparently. These are either arson,like every Canadian fire, or negligent power companies and their above ground transmission lines combined with zero maintenance of underbrush.

    Yes, the Leftists and envious illegal immigrants are starting these fires. If they have to live on the streets … then so will all those rich (sic) Americans.   4. My girlfriend has got word this evening that her aunt and uncle – who have lived in the Palisades for quite a long time – have lost everything, except their lives.
    Not a fathomable situation.

    1. Got word this evening that our close friends and their children had to evacuate this evening from North LA, near Pasadena/Glendale area. Their live shots and videos strike terror.

  6. Greens get their intel from the weather channel as to when the dry conditions and winds are just right and they hit it just perfectly this time. They will be more powerful than ever now in California with all the funding they’re going to get from rich people.

  8. Adam Carolla has posted a pretty good remote podcast from a hotel room. It’s a shame and a tragedy what’s happening. Completely self-inflicted, but there’s been a lot of that about lately.
