  1. Hilarious. As a rule I never eat from street food carts and never will so you might say it doesn’t affect me. But yeah, “Halal”…too funny.
You’ll notice as well how he baits his victims with corn meal or whatever the hell that is.

  2. I saw a funny comparison video a while back.

Regular Food Cart: Shows a guy making chicken curry.
Indian Food Cart: Shows a guy making chicken curry but refusing to wash his hands.

  3. He was just recovering his messenger pigeon with a take-out order. He doesn’t trust cellphones or pagers anymore.

  4. I generally avoid food prepared by folks from the Turd World…even fast food and most chain restaurants which, more often than not, employs or are run by people from these regions. Their food hygiene practices suck and their inherent propensity for grifting and diabolical haphazardness are reasons enough.

    1. Unfortunately we’re all running out of options. Even major fast food chains are getting suspect

  5. Long ago and far away,I lived in a small Manitoba town. We kids all owned a .22. Pigeons, which were grain fed from robbing the elevators, were fair game and we bagged a few. Pretty good eating, like any upland game bird.

City pigeons probably carry as many diseases as rats. Halal apparently means “permitted” or lawful.

    1. Italian father-in-law had chickens, rabbits and a pigeon coop. We ate them all. He also caught sparrows and starlings and cooked one up for me for breakfast once. As a mangiacake, I’m pretty sure this was some kind of twisted initiation.
And the eggs from the chickens had yolks the colour of pumpkins.

  6. Culturally enriching. Aren’t city people always excited about high class street food? Ghetto version of a partridge or Cornish game hen. Can’t get that just anywhere

    1. I saw Chinese man bag a cat and drag in into a restaurant once in Edmonton about 1999.

  7. I shoot pigeoni whenever i can. Very sporting on the wing. They are delicious. The ones we get are wild and eat in the grain fields. You can make the best pate from pigeon breast.

  8. I remember a Chinese food restaurant in Edmonton in the 70’s getting busted for using baby mice instead of shrimp for the battered shrimp dish! I have never forgotten seeing that in the news. I knew which restaurant it was and where it was at the time but I don’t anymore. I think it put them out of business.

  9. L – if the pigeon, he killed was a stool pigeon? Does that make both the killing and the meat
Halal? Was there a fatwa issued applicable to this particular pigeon or only for pigeons
wearing a kipppa, or having a necklace with a cross, or is it for all pigeons?
