    1. Same. For one thing, we’re both dodging any possibility of “Canadian men” possibly bombing pubs and/or churches and/or synagogues we might be in.
      Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah.

  1. Merry Christmas SDA – I’m in a charitable mood and include you flamers and put down artists.

We live in a wonderful country.

    1. “We live in a wonderful country.”
You’re delusional. Where have you been the last 9 years? The neo-Marxists and Communists who voted Lieberal or ENDP have destroyed this once wonderful country Canada. Canada is now a third world sh*t hole and home to too many stupid people. The likes of you voted for it. Vote Liberal – support corruption. Vote Liberal – support crime & criminals. Vote Liberal – support infant genocide. Vote Liberal – destroy Canada.

I’m in a the Christmas mood and will offer this. I’ve never voted liberal. Don’t blame me for the problems the country is experiencing, I’m a libertarian.

        Have a merry Christmas.

  2. No offense to others, but I’d need to drink to get myself into church and then one after to wash down the taste.

The church I find God in is my backyard with the birds at the feeders.

  3. Merry Christmas everyone!

Church last night for the eve service, then a drive around to look at lights/displays. Can’t remember the last time in a pub, long, LONG time ago.

Working today so the folks with kids can be with their kids. Christmas dinner tonight.

  4. Oof!! If my mother ever caught me in a bar on Christmas Day in my yoot, it’d be the Wrath of Khan redux.
Not a religious fanatic by any stretch, I mean, how much preaching can you do when you consider teetotalers as quitters. In her later years “Pub Night Wednesday” at the OAHome was her favourite time but considered the two drink maximum off the charts offensive. Once quipping to me… “I’m 88 what am I holding on too?” a rough translation of her native tongue.

Anyways, Merry Christmas SDA and to you too Ma wherever you are.

  5. Breakfast with mom and dad, and then over to my recently departed sister’s house this afternoon to celebrate with the entire clan. Should be about 20 people or so.

Merry Christmas to Kate, Robert, the other contributors, and of course the awesome commenters!

  6. Neither, because my church doesn’t have a service on Christmas Day except when it falls on a Sunday. However, I did make it to the short Christmas Eve service yesterday – just singing and short message. (Pastor Bob had said it was going to be an hour total, but it actually 45 minutes.)

  7. Does the pub at home count? If so, I must admit to worshiping at home surrounded by family, with a chaser (or three) of spiked egg nog to cope with the in-laws. I used to faithfully attend the Lutheran church Christmas Eve Service before it was taken over by communists, queers, Trannies, and the DEI woke.

You see … statistics and poll questions miss a lot of gray area. Such as this Christian’s disdain for what the “church” has become. The pub OTOH … hasn’t changed much in 2,024 years.

Merry Christmas everyone! May you all be blessed by God’s eternal Love.

  8. Merry Christmas Kate, Lance, Robert OJ, Francisco, Brian and SDA commenters, lurkers and trolls.
