  1. One can’t help but notice the irony that the Liberals’ solution to too many applications is to reduce service availability times. Truly a bureaucrat’s wet dream.

    1. I remain convinced that it is our government employees who facilitate … literally train the thieves … about how to scam the system. Let’s call this thievery-training the dominant bureaucrat side hustle. Our nations are being looted. By our own employees.

DOGE needs to set up surveillance of ALL Federal employees.

  2. For those that don’t have access to Blacklocks (a very good service), the Liberals have limited the number of sites and times that an non-resident can make applications while crossing the boarder as a way of controlling access. They now have more limited places and times they can go to apply.

  3. Not heard of this before. I assume its been going on for ages. I also assume that it has not been acted upon and has not been reported on because the Liberal goverment utterly HATES its rank-and-file citizenry, as does the Canadian MSM.

    Anyone have a better explanation?

    1. It has to do with how VISAs work. The most typical travel VISA is a 10 year, but they can only stay 6 months at a time.

    2. I thought “flagpoling” was probably something between Trudeau and consenting male cabinet members. I thought that is why Seamus O’regan left cabinet, he was poled out.

  4. Long ago, I realized that one of the big problems with people who work in government is they don’t think people will ever cheat. So they design systems/processes that rely on people to be honourable.

The reality is that a significant percentage of people will do everything they can to find a way to betray the spirit of rules & processes. Honour and “doing the right thing” do not come into the equation!

    1. True enough. And that holds true with things like UI and disability pensions, CERB programs, etc.. An all-too-large chunk of the population has no concept of right or wrong when it concerns themselves.

  5. It would be interesting if they simply said “Not admissible” and turned the bus around.

Then at US Customs they also say “Not admissible”.

    1. How many of them took advantage of welfare programs, and returned to their country of origin, and continue to collect welfare, while living somewhere else?

How many of them will have to be rescued from their country of origin during the next crisis in that country (see: Lebanon and Canadians of Convenience. $94 Million in 2006, no word on how much it will be this time around.)

    2. And how many will become citizens of convenience and return to the home country? Then scream discrimination when they aren’t evacuated before everyone else.

Plenty of Overtime, Long Lineups, and Poor Service with an Attitude: … “over 9,000 PSAC-CIU members at the Canada Border Services Agency, responsible for protecting Canada’s borders and the planning, development, delivery, inspection and control of people and goods entering Canada”

  7. L- “Flagpoling” , a novel method of screwing over the Canadian taxpayer. Another innovation
in empathetic suicide of the first post nation-state, brought to you by the most thoroughly anti-Canadian Prime Minister in history.

  8. How do you remove third world corruption from our governments when no white Canadian is allowed to apply for government jobs?
Have we reached critical mass of corruption now?

    1. “How do you remove third world corruption from our governments when no white Canadian is allowed to apply for government jobs?”

Yeah, so much for our “white privilege”, eh?

  9. For a moment I thought that said “fag polling” and then muttered “he’s in 4th place”.
