    1. “Victoria Libraries” are inanimate entities. Why are there no names attached to this article. They are public servants. We need names, bios, full disclosure of which individuals are behind this. The omnipotent busy bodies behind this censorship need to be exposed to the bright light. No more hiding in anonymity in their Cowards Castles refusing to stand front and centre and be examined if they have the courage of their so called convictions

  1. I’m endlessly amused by Leftists, who endlessly regurgitate that they believe in Science, Open Discussion, and everything related to Education. In truth though, this belief ONLY APPLIES if such things are in lockstep with their current narrative. Dare deviate even 0.000001% and you are instantly shunned.

It’s a common “progressive” tactic to claim that “books are being banned” without adding the qualification “by libraries”. In other words leaving the impression that this or that government authority is banning books, when in fact, everyone is still perfectly entitled to obtain any book they want by purchasing it themselves.

What they won’t admit is that libraries have always had the prerogative to determine just which books they will or will not permit on their shelves. And in a public library system, the public – not the administrators – should have the ultimate say about what books its libraries will or will not stock.

  2. I’m not surprised the Victoria library management would refuse to add this book to their collection, but somewhat surprised they’d refuse an offer to accept donated copies of the book.

The Calgary Library has no results for this book, which is odd to me in that Tom Flanagan is a local Calgarian and former advisor to the PM who called Calgary his home. I visited the new $ multimillions main branch when it first opened and saw at least a dozen copies of Jane Jacobs book on cities.

The Vancouver Library currently has 74 holds for their 5 copies of this book Grave Error, so it’s not like the popularity is in question, and from the above perhaps it is the popularity of opposing political views which is the problem….

The Regina Public Library has 0 items of 70 copies available … strangely enough, I wasn’t expecting this result.. lol..

  3. Anything Victoria dislikes will increase sales for the book. The publishers must be very happy to receive a Christmas gift from BC.

We will read whatever we want.

  4. This is exactly how we only have one song for an entire continent of 100’s of Nations, cultures and languages.
We had to kill, torture and kidnap a LOT of our neighbors before whitey showed up to keep it down to just one song.
We aren’t going to listen and we’re prepared to take everything you have.
“F” you and don’t be late with our cheque.

      1. I’m almost hurt.
Like there’s ever been, or ever will be, some nepotistic, quota hired, meritless, gubmint union grunt that can be this creative, loyal and funny whilst trying to destroy and at the same time milk a $100,000 + a year (plus glasses, hearing aids and dental) from family and “friends”, working” from home?

I am an unkillable organic ancient spirit that will relentlessly mock those you and I suspect.

        Friend.

  5. On the flip side…Francis Widdowson a”residential school denier” gave a lecture about her views at Brock University. Yes, you heard that right…a Canadian University. Excuse me while I sit a spell on the fainting couch. I haven’t run through it yet but from the looks of her opening statement, it looks pretty good.

  6. Institutional capture these days means McCarthyism of the left, essentially fascism of the cultural Marxists. Dour-faced, censors and book burners, with their lock-step ideologies including the cult of 56 genders. White collared brown shirts.
