Trudeau needed this anti-Israel box ticked to burnish his credentials on the resumé he is building for his post-election career ensconced in some sinecure at the UN. He has no hope for any job with prestige attached in the private sector. Do not think you can shame this man on this file. He doesn’t care about Canada’s image, only his own skin and future. No matter how bad antisemitism gets here, you will see no sliver of daylight between Trudeau and the corrupt, anti-Israel ICC or any other UN entity between now and his election loss.

  1. And still the majority of Canadian Jews will vote Liberal, it is who they are. Before the first person hits their keyboard to accuse me an anti-semitism, or any other ism, save your keystrokes. It is anti the Jews who are ethnic Jews only, not the religious Jews, they retain a sense of history and morality.

    1. Not “anti”-anything merely a sociological fact. Somewhat bizarrely (due to internalized self-hatred?), and in confirmation of something Mark Steyn’s once noted about the Left’s penchant for ‘phantom’ as opposed to real enemies, the three big supporters of the Liberals have been (i) women, (ii) gays and (iii) Jews. So I guess they can all argue about who will be subjugated/raped, pogromed, or thrown of a tall building first by our future – should the voting patterns of these three demographics remain the same – Islamic overlords.

      We get the governments we deserve.

    2. Also, what’s with that smirk on Freeland’s face? I’ve repeated often in these SDA comments, she is a person of intense and unrelenting awfulness.

      1. Her grandfather was SS, so the penchant to murder and destroy has not been cleansed from the bloodline. At some point, she has made a choice, to be a pert of the problem or a part of the solution.

        It appears that her body is fighting the choices she has made. The tics and twitches and facial expressions (how high can she actually raise her eyebrows without mechanical help) appear to be getting worse. It has been discussed here at length, but it would be wise of her to make a statement as to her medical condition so all can focus on the subject matter instead of wondering about Mrs. Bobblehead.

        1. Freeland is exceedingly awful without her antecedents and the concept of ‘sin in one’s bloodline’ is getting a bit into Goebbels territory (however, I’m sure you meant this merely in the poetic/metaphorical sense) but please SDA readers, indulge me in a simple thought experiment:

          Imagine that non-Liberal, non-francophone (Vichy-sympathizers in 1940s Quebec – something we’ve conveniently stuffed down the national Memory Hole – would be too numerous to mention) Canadian politician possessed odious, Nazi-lovin’ progenitors, what would the MSM coverage said politician look like?

          1. Generational curses are as real as genetics. But, repentance(to turn around 180 degrees and move in the opposite direction…eg. from hate to love) and forgiveness can change family history and destiny for generations.

            So, literal, not ethereal mumbo-jumbo. This is real life, this is rubber tearing up the asphalt.

          2. And so we are fantasising that Freeland’s grandad had been a typical Alberta high school student who was then drawn to Nazism by his sheer love of evil. Gratifying no doubt. In fact he had been a responsible member of a society which had been undergoing literal extermination until the Germans arrived. He considered it necessary to support the people who were saving his people, against the people who were exterminating them. Doesn’t strike me as crazy or evil, let alone congenital.

      2. I thought #Twitchy was holding it together pretty good there. The facial expressions and big sighs were still in evidence, but at least she didn’t look like somebody was pushing the remote control on her vibrator.
        That video from the other day, it seemed she had given the remote to #FrenchBarbie.

        I hate that this seems like a plausible explanation.

    4. The vast majority of Canada’s Jews live in cities. Most people in our cities vote Liberal. So, not surprisingly, a majority of Jews vote Liberal.

  3. I doubt the UN is going to be hiring anyone, with the massive debt crisis on the way in the US and other countries which “used to have buckets of money to give away” the job openings are going to be scarce.

    I think a long vacation in Costa Rica / Tofino BC is his future.

    1. don’t worry, there is some put aside from those billions Trudeau has directed the UN way – 10% for you, 10% for you ….. and maybe some will be left over for whatever he told the public it was for.

  4. I like Barbara Kay and her son Jon but don’t agree that the Bong will seek a sinecure with the UN or some other international organization. While I agree that he’d bring less than nothing to any organization my guess is that he disappears into the ether. He doesn’t need to work and has little work history in his background.

    2. I think that the Turd’s ultimate dream was for Canada to be the first country to openly pledge itself to the new world order, that whole post-nation state crap, and in gratitude would be given a position where he could travel to every pride parade in the world.
