    1. Indeed. I was going to comment back to Kate that the Left are literally reverse-engineering a famine. They are deliberately crippling the most successful and abundant segment of Western civilization – farming, ranching, and food production.

      1. Bingo. In short, they are working desperately to create the conditions that Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Mao said were the requisite building blocks for The Revolution.

      2. Kenji – it’s payback for the settlers killing all the Buffalo. It’s funny, I heard an indigenous leader telling a group of oil industry representatives that energy security is food security. He gets it. Big-city Liberals don’t get it or don’t care.

          1. Every painting I see of Buffalo shows few or no trees. Evidence bison are bad for trees. (Psst, don’t ask about the woodland bison)

          2. Reply to Farmerboy: Years ago I was talking to old farmer NW of Saskatoon about all the trees in his field. He replied there weren’t any trees around when his family moved onto their farm when he was a boy. The Indians burned everything every few years and that kept the trees down, more grass for buffalo.

      3. Apparently, the most efficient farmers on the planet are the Dutch. So, what do the powers that be want to do? Destroy 3000 farms and turn the land into ‘Tristate City’…..

    1. Cyclist – that’s not entirely correct. I think it was Anna Maria Tremonti who I heard on the CBC interviewing someone so far right they didn’t know that climate science was settled. Her reaction was akin to a concentration camp survivor encountering and then rebuking a Holocaust Denier. Not pretty. Or any time they interview a conservative on Acid Happens.

  1. I welcome the famine. It is well-deserved and needed.

It is not OK to build tiny city apartments with no fresh food that is nearby.

  2. All Westminster has to do is promise them more aid and they’ll turn their tractors around and wait by their mailboxes.

    1. That is often very much the case with a lot of protests against damaging government policies. Sometimes it
involves arresting a few, or many, of them as well just for added inducement to submit.

      1. Let’s see…
        Subsidize farmers, get cheap food.
Tax them into the ground, get no food, or at best, very expensive food.
Leave them alone, and let market conditions determine the price.
In Canada, we subsidize dairy farmers, and pay through the nose for milk.
This country is so badly screwed that it is totally beyond repair.

  3. Western leaders hate the peasants. This could also be said about pretty well every country on the planet.

    1. True that…Especially Euro Centric “peasants”
What was it that the TURD so famously posited..??

“..”The very concept of a nation founded by European settlers is offensive to me. Old Stock White Canadians are an unpleasant relic, and quite frankly, replaceable. And we will replace them”

Look around you…I’d say that is EXACTLY what this Pedophilic NAZI POS has enabled over the past 9 yrs.

    2. You hate the idea of them being armed without state permission, and as such, you are on the western elite’s side, OJ.

  4. Crazy time interview.

Is the great crater in the UK’s budget caused by farmers? Or was it caused by something else in this past decade? It clearly didn’t happen overnight. Does being a refugee pay in the UK as well as it does in Canada?

I guess it takes the heat off the PM regarding the Southport murders, perhaps he welcomes the farmer’s protest.

  5. All over the Western world, farmers are being attacked. Large trans-national companies and individuals (Mr. Gates) are buying up the land as farmers are pushed and regulated out of business.

  6. Whoever the lady is interviewing is an absolute tigress and not letting the smug moron off at all. I think I’m in love….
