Every chance I get for those bogus SKPower surveys/questionnaires I always put in the comments “STOP THIS RIDICULOUS WIND/SOLAR NONSENSE AND USE THE TECHNOLOGY WE HAVE THATS PROVEN! NATURAL GAS, COAL, EVEN SMALL MODULAR NUCLEAR MAKES LOADS MORE SENSE” Stop this until the green initiatives make any proper sense for a net benefit, they don’t.
I have never gotten a response, reply, follow up, nothing. They are not interested in hearing anything but their own narrative and patting themselves on the back. Meanwhile, our power bills continue to increase.

Don’t the “greens” always tell us that THEIR brand of “renewable” energy is cheaper? Well … I guess it IS cheaper when NET ZERO power is coming down the line.
The fallacy of the carbon tax rebates are that the poorer taxpayers get it all back. Except that it doesn’t cover the much higher cost of electricity (and everything else) caused by intermittent power generation by conventional sources and 100% redundant backup by conventional means or even more costly power storage. But I’m preaching to the elders. We need to reach the wider public.

Yeah, I wondered that myself. Whenever I’ve been to other sites and it’s been calm, they turn at about 1 turn every few minutes for that reason. Not sure why these did not. But if you see the moon portion of the video, that’s sped up 16x and zero movement from the six turbines in the background.
Maybe they are not connected to the grid that can supply power when the there is no wind. They should be.
Are there not any Hollywood actors or music elites that could fly over and report on the raping of Mother Earth going on hear.
We will happily send you some wind from the west coast. The high is 4 degrees today and we are cold. I have all electric baseboards set at 25C and the gas fireplace on. I guess wind is on the way to you.
My front door is flicked and Vancouver has ZERO 24/7 locksmiths who can fix a SIMPLE door knob. Gosh, help me if ever am locked out!

First, I bet taxpayers fuded most, if not all, the moeny to build thiese swindlemills.
Second, what is the power purchase deal? Do the “owners” receive money iif thewy cannot generate electricity, because the wind is either too weak, or too strong. Who pays for the electricity when there is no wind, or too much woind? Who pays for all the additional power grid network equipment required to run these things?
Three. Why is Saskatchewan buying intop this crap? It is absurd to use swindlemills and subsidiy farms for electricity in the North (or anywhere in fact).
SaskPower tells me that they only pay for power produced when it comes to grid-scale wind and solar. No power, no money, honey. That’s it.
