…unless you’re white, then all bets are off.
A bit into the article you also get this –

Which means the hiring of more white guys is also pure garbage unless you think 0.7% is a big number.
Yup. Click bait sensationalism, Steve.
They are discussing Fortune 500 companies. 1% of 500 is five CEO positions. 0.7% is 3.5 CEO positions.
That’s 3 or 4 white dudes named to CEO positions. Pfffft! That doesn’t even rise to the level of tinkering around the margins.
Next year could be 7 or 8 CEO positions going the other way.
