  1. They had me … until I saw the spare tire profile embedded into the trunk lid. I guess the internally illuminated glass tires aren’t run-flats. That technology wasn’t available in 1953

      They are actually solid tires, with embedded LEDs (and apparently the car cannot be driven over a certain speed because of that…not sure why). The original tires were translucent rubber or plastic or something.
