    1. What’s ironic with the “Truth and Reconciliation Day” holiday name is the word “Truth”. The moral panic over the imagined residential-school graves puts the boot to that slippery word.

      1. I didn’t know nor care, and just happened to wear an orange shirt today. It’s laundry day. Suddenly I’m supporting a political position?

  1. This dropped late Friday:

ICE has processed over 662,000 illegal immigrants with criminal histories and placed them on their national docket. That means they are free to move about the country and, supposedly, will attend a court date to determine their status years from now.

It gets better. 15,000 of those illegal immigrants free to move about the US have previously been convicted of homicide. 13,000 of those illegal immigrants have been convicted of a sex crime. These are the ones that are documented and is a fraction of the total number of criminals currently in the US illegally.

    1. RR, thanks for posting. I’ll try to keep an open mind about Trump’s campaigning. Your Gateway Pundit post is a factual account of what he said yesterday. The corrupt corporate media simply report his closing tag line about Harris’s supposed “mental illness”.

It may be a question about how many eyeballs watch social media versus those who watch the corrupt TV networks. I take it that SDAers know how to tailor their tablets and computers to allow a small-c conservative narrative. YouTube, for example, has an icon, “three dots arrnged vertically”, whereby a viewer can cancel feeds from a given YouTube host. My dear wife bought me a new Samsung tablet three weeks ago. As can be expected the big tech oligarchies included only left and far-left media on the tablet, and I am still working to get the tablet to feed conservative commentary. The YouTube commentary supporting Trump and Poilievre is very good. The commentary describing Israel’s war in defending itself is excellent.

      1. More than anything right now, we need honesty. So far as I can determine, Trump doles that out in large servings.
For an example of dishonest insanity, a government that paid out $2 billion in fraudulent unemployment and social security payments in the last 12 months expects us to believe that the “problem” is that rich people don’t “pay their fair share.”

  2. The other day from the Wall St. Journal. Except inside the brackets.

“Total factor productivity, which measures how effectively capital, workers and land are put together, has been decelerating since 2010 (2015). The obvious reason is that Xi’s (Trudeau’s) autocratic rule has centralized power even more, directing bank loans and capital to favored sectors and state-owned enterprises—and as a result starving more dynamic businesses of resources.”

Lithpy-loo said he admired the way they can turn around their economy…because he’s an ignorant stupid prick.
Today he’ll do & say whatever he can to promote how much he hates Canada and Canadians.

    1. Our brother, an architect in Ottawa, made the statement that “ALL cities have a “urine” district or 2. This is where all of the “low-lifes” live.” I lived in Toronto for 25 years. Jane and Lawrence is a classic “urine” district – I am surprised that there are not MORE shootings.

  3. “Russia calls on Israel to immediately stop hostilities in Lebanon — ambassador to Israel

MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Russia urges Israel to immediately stop hostilities in Lebanon in order to avoid major consequences for the region and resort to political and diplomatic means of resolving the conflict, Russian Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov told Rossiya-24 television.”

  4. Electric car catches fire due to cheap charger not made in China.

Just kidding. They don’t actually say where it comes from but argue … “if it isn’t CSA approved” … just kidding again but there is this “only use the charging equipment supplied by the manufacturer and ensure it carries a Regulatory Compliance Mark, proving it meets Australian standards”. So if they’re as good as CSA …

But what is the likelihood that the non-manufacturer charging cable was made in China? Imagine what will happen when the entire EV is made there and sold here for $18,000. Each car will be shipped with a bag of marshmallows.

  5. Far too many First Nations still don’t even clean have drinking water.

Ever visited the museum under the St. Louis arch? It’s essentially a museum of the “Gateway to Genocide”. Every promise, pledge, treaty, etc. to First Nations in displayed in that museum has been broken. Canada is no different than USSA, Inc. in that realm. First Nations are the lingering genocide that no one wants to notice.

    1. The treaties were the worst thing to happen to the natives. Those locked them forever in the third world. The only ones who thrive are the chiefs’ families; the hucksters in government; and the few who leave the system altogether, get real jobs, and join the middle class.

  6. #1 in Larry Elder’s “The 10 Things You Can’t Say in America”

“Blacks are more racist than whites.”

    1. “Meanwhile, Harris has yet to issue anything beyond a carefully staged photo of herself allegedly being “briefed by FEMA” after raking in millions at Left Coast campaign fundraisers. For those who missed the picture, it appears the headset to her phone is not even plugged into it, and the piece of paper she is writing on looks like it’s blank.”

Hey,let’s not be too hard on the drunk. She says notes are important, so you can note the notes that need to be noted in the fullness of time.
