  1. I’m just relieved that the BCU did the right thing in dropping out. Conservatives are only radical in the minds of the left and their propaganda arms. I would prefer a Javier Milei form of radical but this is as good as it gets on the left coast. The Conservatives can win if enough of the residual BCU support (10%) doesn’t go Green or NDP.

  2. To the leftist mind, Normies all seem radical … which means that normalcy, apparently, is radical.
I do not grok their thinking, it’s very messed up. Leftists all need psychiatric help.
Conservatives need to stop tolerating these leftist stooges … you know … push back harder.

  3. Finally a guy with sensible opinions who’s not trading on looks or notoriety. He’s got my support.

  4. Elon Musk , the worlds most successful Afro American would also be radical . he has 12 kids and says the world needs more. a great commonality between him and most of the USA afro american males. not that they promote it. but they certainly do it

      1. Which makes him African. And he’s an American citizen. He’s not “Afro-American” as the Democrats define the term, but to hell with them.

  5. Just saw on “X” some NDP hit piece that the BC Conservative leader never worked in the private sector.
When you have nothing to add, project.

  6. With nuclear power, a lot of left-tards will use the earthquake/tidal wave argument, and on the face of it, that will make sense to the many assholes who live there – until you ask them how its safe for them to live there. Or how its safe to have hydro dams there, or pipelines.

    1. Fukushima got hit by both and not a single person died. I’d call that a pretty good safety record.

  7. He’s going to have my vote. I am so sick of all the “climate” crap and the woke hippy vibe here on the south end of Vancouver Island. Let’s put an end to the DEI bullshit too. People here are brainwashed. Nearly all of them.

    1. Agreed Stinky, on all points. The Cons don’t need any seats here on the island anyways, the peeps are truly indoctrinated with socialism, despite the BROKEN health system, the open drug zombie bazaar on the streets, the high cost of EVERYTHING, and all the other nasty side effects of ENDP socialism.
It looks like Rustad is choosing brutal honesty over shifty lines of truth as his strategy. A risky strategy for sure, especially here in socialist BC, where everyone seems to expect gubmint to rescue them from the smallest of ills. I wish him well, he’s up against a disgustingly evil and unethical party of Marxists.

  8. He’s got my vote, I agree with Chittick, a Milei would be the best. But Rustad was more impressive than I expected. He’s the best we’ve seen around here since early Gordon Campbell. His 30% tax cut on day one was epic.

  9. The good news…? The “Post Nation State” wont need energy…

The authoritarian Governance of the “Post Nation State” will save the world from “climate change” or whatever its called now…
Even if it means destroying the Post Nation State and suiciding all its citizens.

The corrupt and lawless Liberal/NDP rulers will virtue signal us all to victory.
Even if they have to kill us all to do it.

  10. Short of some battery breakthrough.. If you want to be green with wind and solar, you need a readily available backup.. Take your pick and don’t forget your checkbook.. Nuclear works, but its very expensive.. Long before you are out of the red it will need a retrofit.. Be honest..

In a way its boondoggles great grandfather.. How far can we scale up a industry that writes its own checks?..
