    As it appears, most of those young people are from the enriching segment of the society.
    They are also designated victims.
    Those that they enrich are the social workers, the police, the lawyers, the judges, the prisons, variety of bureaucrats at all levels of government and many more.

    It would follow that they employ massive numbers of utterly useless, non-productive people that would otherwise have to sell hamburgers or something.

    What’s the problem?

  2. Did the #Libranos tell us that adding millions of “unqualified to do anything” people from the rest of the world, would “add value” to Canada?

    I don’t see it.

    In the news articles on this topic, they all mention the Peel Police as saying the majority of these guns are from the USA and insinuate that’s a great problem. As if without the guns, these people would never have broken the laws of the land. If there were an additional million guns brought into Canada, would the hunters and “normal people” rise up and start doing small jobs downtown in order to make a bit of cash on the side?
    I think the big problem is these people arrested, their families and friends included, are not likely qualified to do anything constructive, and so have turned to lives of crime.

    I’m not taking the blame for this…

      They are. And the major conduits into Canada are via reserves along the St. Lawrence – Great Lakes waterway; nocturnally of course. Because unless things have changed very recently, police boats don’t do interdiction patrols when it’s dark.

      So let’s blame the US … another “Squirrel” for the Stupid.

  3. The priority is prosecuting vax mandate protestors. The legal system has to clear out other cases.

  4. I was born in Toronto in the 1960s. And I grew up and lived in Toronto for most of my life.
    Now I am here to tell you that before 1976 there was virtually no gun crime in Toronto and the GTA. There would be the occasional bank robbery, hardened criminals with guns doing it. And the occasional domestic homicide which made the front page every time.
    But one day Pierre Elliott Trudeau decided to start importing non-Whites from the third world and in particular black people, mainly from the Caribbean. The moment they started arriving in Toronto and the GTA in numbers that could be counted on more than your fingers, crime started going out of control.
    Murder and Mayhem Non-Stop to beat the band. Non-whites in the GTA have been responsible for anywhere from 80 to 90% of all gun crimes and all gun murders for over 45 years in a row, without even one year being an exception where they weren’t responsible for a super high percentage. That picture in the article of those arrested represent all gun crime criminals in Toronto and the GTA for over 45 years in a row.

    1. I was born in Hamilton in the 1950s. When I was 9 or 10 I would take the Greyhound bus, alone, to downtown from Ancaster and attend the YMCA every Saturday. Did it for years. Perfectly safe No one -ever- even looked at me funny. Ever.

      There was zero crime. None. Just didn’t happen. The few murders there were became sensational news, because holy schlitz they killed a guy!

      Guns? EVERYBODY HAD GUNS. Everybody. My old great aunts on the farm had guns. My mother could hit a squirrel at 50 yards with a .22.

      So now, here we are, 2024. Illegal immigrants run a car theft/home invasion ring, -finally- get arrested, out on bail the same day/next day. Are you kidding me?

      Voting Liberal had consequences, eh?

    2. I always wonder why so many Canadians go down to Jamaica and elsewhere for vacation when so many of the bumbaclots are up here.
      And Jamaica (and no doubt the rest of the islands – like St. Lucia) is about as safe a place as Kamala is virginal.
