Please tell me you aren’t that ill informed. Prior to polio vaccine introduction, the disease was almost eliminated. Most who got polio, didn’t die and didn’t need an iron lung. In Africa, the instances of polio are many times greater among the vaccinated than the in vaccinated.
As for the MMR vaccine, I just read the FDA product insert. During the trial, over 26% got erythema and 5.6% got measles. Safe and effective.

Polio has existed for millenia at least, and it came and went in waves like most diseases. The fact that polio was on the ebb when the vaccine was introduced does NOT mean it was on the verge of elimination, any more than a reduction in influenza during the summer means it’s going away permanently.

Rarely get sick. Rarely get a common cold. Have had all the normal, usual vaccines, MMR, Tetanus, Shingles, etc. No covid shots. 70 yrs old. Good weight, active, all the blood tests come back good. Not sure why I am so fortunate. Many of my siblings have serious health issues. I may have to change my name as I moved off Vcr Island.
