  1. What’s the difference between organized crime and government? Organized crime is … well … organized.

  2. Marijuana was never “legalized” it was (heavily) “regulated”. The only free market in Canada is the black market and as Blacklock’s reports, where better service, price , and quality is available.

  3. Stop me if you’ve heard this before – Had a plasterer do a ceiling in my house who was a weekend smoker, or so he told me. I asked him if he ever bought from the brick and mortar establishments. “Absolutely not” was his reply. He has his supplier on speed dial; he doesn’t know his supplier’s real name and doesn’t want to…same day delivery to his door…good quality and even better prices, not to mention his dealer doesn’t ask for ID or information. How true that is I don’t know but I think someone on this board mentioned that yes, establishments do ask for “additional information”.
WHY????? Gawd!!!! What is it with these people always wanting more information?
That said – For a chronic Cannabis smoker the guy was an absolute demon with a trowel.

    1. 5 years ago, one of the best plumbing foreman I’ve ever worked with showed me how, depending on the “quality of our day”, place his product order at noon and when he arrived at home at 4.30pm his order would be in the mailbox at his door, he’d have paid for it over the phone, and said how some companies offer “high miles” to frequent buyers.

He’d had zero problems with this. I’m not partaking at all and couldn’t care less about it, but the free market seems to have worked this out without having to know his age, address, bank info, or how far he lives from a school or mall …

  4. In Ontario, you can get a pound of good weed for $200.
The gov’t thought the price would stay at around $200/Oz, they couldn’t run a lemonade stand.
Also, with the taxes on booze, bootleggers are making a comeback.

  5. All I know is that The Cartel has taken over MORE, not LESS remote wilderness land in CA … hence making my fishing trips MORE and MORE dangerous … not safer.

  6. Before it was legal, my dealer was charging me $12/g for flower. Now that it’s legal, the price in the stores is down to $1/g. I guess it can be cheaper, but now, I get an oz of high potency stuff for less than $40, and I literally couldn’t smoke it all in a month if I wanted to.

And lately, I’ve gone from flowers to vapes because it’s less harsh on my lungs. I’ve never had a dealer offer me vapes. My only concern with the new system is it still way too easy for kids to gets their hands on stuff; my 15-year old nephew and his pal had more weed on them combined then I go through in two months. But if you’re running a government that’s busy trying to get kids to change their sex, why would you worry about them being stoned?
