    1. Does Danielle Park believe nwhat she writes or does she get paid to write this Blarney Science? 😈

  1. “No Reason, peon.”
Despite the never-ending false claims of the Climate Cupcakes, there is nothing going on with the temperature of the planet; therefore, as any scientifically well-informed citizen knows, governments are wasting tens of trillions of dollars, rupees, pounds, deutschmarks, lira and rubles for no scientifically verifiable reason. It’s not just waste, either.
Waste at this level carries with it a host of secondary effects, most of which serve to reduce the safety, longevity, health and quality of life of citizens and lesser animals. To cite merely one of those secondary effects, there is particulate pollution that results from accelerated tire wear on EVs. Particulate pollution resulting from the excessive weight and resultant accelerated tire wear observed on the sainted EV’s that multiple states will or have legislatively dictated as mandatory replacements for fossil-fuel powered vehicles, flow downstream and pollute the planet’s oceans at a level that is thousands of times higher than is observed on fossil-fuel powered vehicles.

Citizen to representative of government: “Why are you wasting trillions on unnecessary efforts to demonize, reduce and remove CO2 from the atmosphere?”

Government representative to citizen: “Because we can.”

    1. CO2 is 0.04% of the atmosphere, cut that in half and we are all dead, all of us.

      1. Ding-ding-ding!!! We have a winner!!!
Tom Harris says that we are too close for comfort to the bare-minimum of CO2 levels needed to sustain life on the planet.
So you see… the government really does want to kill us, because, you know, there are too many people on the planet. There’s only enough resources for about a billion people. That’s it! They’re even saying so openly now.

    2. In a related aside – Justie claims the 20 billion confiscated under the new capital gains rules will fund all his latest promised programs. It’s going to collect 20 billion or significantly less than the cost overruns on TMX. I sure the math is deadly other than forgetting to factor in the cost of brown paper bags- environmentally friendly of course!

    1. The Dutch have a new gov’t today….

“After 5 months a right-wing government has finally been formed!
During the first press conference Wilders announced he’ll be introducing the “toughest immigration policy the nation has ever seen”.
His party, the PVV, will govern with 3 other centrist and moderately right-wing parties.”

… and more from Eva V. (and there will NOT be a mass cull of livestock)

      1. I listened to Wilders’ announcement today (translated and can be viewed on CFP).
Sounds like the RIGHT way to go.
I hope PP is hearing it.

    1. People who can’t afford food and rent aren’t spending money on new clothes, especailly trendy expensive clothes.

  2. The climate change debate is slowly changing.

    https://dailysceptic.org/2024/05/11/climate-change-is-driven-by-changes-in-orientation-of-earth-to-sun-not-carbon-emissions-new-analysis-of-berkeley-earth-data-shows/

I sent this article to Stephan Gullible because he needs to know that his perspective is not the only one, being the isolated political hack that he is. I also asked that if the article might be true, what a carbon tax would do about the orientation of the earth. I am eagerly awaiting a response from his political science-ness (no, I am not – that was sarcasm. My purpose is to inject a measure of doubt into his ideologue brain which has hitherto never existed. He wouldn’t know science if it bit his behind.)

    1. I think he is exceptionally stupid. Anyone in his position would have to be aware that the arguments claiming that AGW (human caused global warming) are flawed. Surely these issues are raised by the people working for the department of the Environment. Has any media person asked him a tough question? The climate change theory is simply wrong and it should not be hard to discredit it.

        1. The people who work in the Department of the Environment are true believers. That is why they applied for the jobs in the first place.

They will not listen to any opposing views no matter the integrity of the source. They cancelled 2022 Nobel Peace Prize awardee of Physics Dr. John Clauser as soon as he opined about the weakness of the climate catastrophe science.

  3. “inject a measure of doubt ”

Injection might work. If not, try a mallet. Could be rubber, or maybe a croquet mallet.
BTW, just saw an article linking increased tree growth with carbon dioxide.
Soon we will find out that increased tree growth is a very, very bad thing.

    1. In exactly the same way that the Biden administration buys GDP growth, by grossly over-paying.

  4. At least weekly while growing up in Regina Sk I heard the phrase, “Canada is the greatest country in the world” and my dad had a handout mini poster of Diefenbaker’s Canadian Charter of Rights on the garage wall.

    Something changed in 1968 though…

“Just in case anyone still thinks Canada is a good place to live? I present the ‘quality of life index’. We were ranked #5 in the world in 2013. After 1 year of Justin Trudeau we had plummeted to #15. By the end of last year we had plummeted to #25. And guess what? This year we have Tanked to #33.”

Some folks at RBC tweeted earlier they expect the Canadian Dollar to be near $1.48 to buy one US dollar.
Think those imported fruits are expensive this year? lol…
